With each job, big or small, Dannys team worked tirelessly to accommodate our schedule and did so with the utmost in professionalism and skill. They also replaced a medicine cabinet in the bathroom, replaced loose tiles and painted. His costs are reasonable and I always appreciate his candor and expertise where design is concerned. "Sales person was very knowledgeable and not pushy, explained all details of refacing and our options. We liked proposal, signed contract at the same day . Next week owner Seth did measurements, offered large choice of new cabinet handles and in 5 weeks we got a call that everything is ready for installation (new cabinet with countertop including). Within 3 days 2 skilled workers completed the job. They covered entire kitchen with plastic, so dust from the kitchen was minimal in the rest of the house. They replaced for us new door shelves that we purchased separately. Everything looks now gorgeous and fresh. Our old kitchen is 33 years old. Now it looks brand new. We replaced all old shelves, drawers, doors, hardware. Refacing is the way when you want to save on hassle of replacing entire kitchen. Much faster, cheaper and easier to survive those installations. The buffet had sustained substantial damage, both to the interior (drawer and frame crushed by an unsecured heavy shelf board) and the exterior (multiple scratches and dents, and two drawer faces that required replacing). Frank went to a great deal of trouble to match the wood that needed replacing, and the repaired and refinished piece looks as if it had never been damaged in the first place. We are more than delighted with the result! Frank and his crew had previously done a great job stripping and refinishing a large mid-century book/display shelf for us."

"Ty Salazar is a nice guy, very knowledgeable, and a great kitchen designer. The work that eventually got done was of high quality, and his people were very responsive to our requests. The problem was in the scheduling and timing. Essentially, Ty seemed to lose touch with the project about halfway through, and that's where it all went south. We had timed everything so that the work would get done over the summer and we'd have a functional (if not 100% complete) kitchen by Labor Day, after which the kids would be back in school and we needed a working kitchen. I asked about this repeatedly and was repeatedly told that this would happen. I pushed hard to get all of the materials and appliances ordered so that they would be delivered on time. Well, we went away for 2 weeks before Labor Day, and when we got back, the work was nowhere near complete -- yet I was invoiced for the completion of the project. Several times I asked for a project schedule, not once was I given one. I gather that part of the problem was that we had to have permits for plumbing and electrical work and the "prima donna" behavior of the licensed plumber and electrician, who didn't show up when they were supposed to, left jobs uncompleted, etc. At any rate, we didn't have a working kitchen until late September, and the finishing cosmetic work took another few weeks to finish up. The final piece of the puzzle, a shelf that had to be custom made for a corner base cabinet, wasn't ready until January, and I got so tired of waiting for it to be delivered that I went out to Forest Hills myself to pick it up. No question about it, we love the new kitchen. But I was really not happy with the timeliness or the lack of communication over the scheduling."
