Tuesday morning Sam provided an ETA and showed up exactly when he said he would. We’re so grateful they could come out on such short notice. He took the time to thoroughly assess the situation and clearly explained what the issues were, how they happened, and offered suggestions on repairs, including options to fix problems immediately, and what we may want to consider for the future. I appreciated his honesty and transparency; there was no upselling or pressure, just straightforward information and practical solutions. I was told various things, call someone else or just ghosted. Powells took the bull by the horns. They tracked down the manufacturer of my old school system here in The Woods and with some detective work diagnosed and replaced pump without digging it all up. Two prior companies had said it needed to be dug up. If you have a REAL problem, call a REAL plumber!"

Additionally, I decided to replace the sump pump as part of the project. However, I was shocked when I was quoted over $13,000 for the job. Given the urgency of the situation—my family needed hot water—I reluctantly agreed to proceed. Unfortunately, I later realized that I was overcharged by approximately $5,000 for the project. To make matters worse, after the installation, the team left a mess on the street that they didn’t clean up.
