"Had a great experience with everything from Holland's Hardscapes. We wanted to replace an old (small) patio that had drainage problems and replace it with a bigger patio complete with sitting walls, pergola, and address the drainage issues. Brain managed the project and came up with an excellent design that matched what we were looking for. He produced a 3d rendering and we were able to quickly iterate on something we liked. Communication was excellent throughout the whole process. When it came time for install, Victor and his crew did an impressive job. They worked fast, were very polite, and the craftsmanship was top notch. When the project was complete, the crew did an excellent job with cleanup and finishing touches. "Jose was very efficient and professional in providing a prompt estimate which was much more reasonable than any of the other estimates I received. He and his team showed up on time to start the job. The estimate was for painting the outside trim and doors of my double story brick house. Soon after they started the job they pointed out that the grime and mould on the gutters would compromise the appearance of my house once the trim had been painted and they volunteered to hand clean the gutters at no extra charge, which they did! They used high quality Sherwin Williams paint which included a mould inhibitor. Their paint work was very careful and thorough, and they were careful to remove any peeling paint, and prime those areas before applying the finish coat. They worked hard all day and finished on time. They were careful to clean the site before they departed at the end of the day. I will definitely use them again, and recommend them to friends and neighbors! Thank you Jose and team for an excellent job at a reasonable price!

"Uhl Stonework and Epoxy Floors were awesome!!! I was not sure what I wanted and how it would work out, but I was heavenly surprised by the results. Richard was very knowledgeable and helpful in helping me make a decision on how to complete my two projects. One consisted of having stone laid for my trash bins, so that they would not be sitting in the grass in my backyard. Also, Uhl built a rock bed with a stone wall in my backyard. I will be hiring them for my next project when I am ready to proceed. Thank you Richard and your team!!!"

"Robert and team came out and quoted the patio, sidewalk, and driveway widening.  When he provided the quote he came back out and we decided to add the fire pit to the patio, my family really wanted one.  They came out 2 weeks later with a big crew and started to put in forms for the concrete.  Robert worked with me to get the actual shape of the patio and placement of the fire pit, once we agreed on that I had to leave to run some errands.  I came back 4 hours later and the concrete was almost completely poured, almost 700 sq feet of concrete!
Patio poured and concrete complete in 1 day as well as the fire pit.  Scheduled to come back in 1 week to do the acrylic and stone pattern.  We also talked about a retaining wall to get some of our backyard back around the patio.  Robert provided a quote and we accepted.  Rescheduled the acrylic for 3 weeks out so that they could do the wall and patio at the same time.  We were going on vacation and needed the job done for when we came back.  Robert promised it would be finished and it was.  He also texted me pictures everyday with progress.  They exceeded expectation on the retaining wall and the landscaping of the yard for drainage with the new wall.  Put in some sod and seeded the areas that the machinery wore out.
We could not be happier with this job or with Robert and his crew.  Highly recommend!

"He is thorough, and very detail conscience.  His work and pricing is straight forward.  He separates the cost of Labor vs Parts and Supply.  This means you can see there are no hidden markups in the total estimate.  This is the most tricky part of most estimates, and why Hammer Handyman sometimes 'seems' more expensive.  I have been low-balled by many contractors, and then suddenly towards the end of the project there is some cost over-runs that were never estimated or Parts and Supply from companies I have never heard of that all of a sudden I need to install or the project will not finish.  I never feel that I am being fleeced with Don."
