"Very high pressure sales. They were more interested in getting it done quickly than the quality of the installation. The aluminum trim around the windows looks good but they did not replace all of the old wood underneath I requested. They would put it over anything. They did not bother to brush off the sills before covering them or remove saw dust. Many of them were cut too small because they assumed all trim was the same size. They had to redo most of them and they didn’t do the bottom corner’s correctly even though I explained to them how they should be done. When they didn’t want to do something they acted like they didn’t understand me."

Roof looks very good and you could tell that the team was working hard and doing it right. Project took 2.5 days. Replaced some of the plywood in the roof that was damaged. "My first project with NMTI0Generation Construction (Tru Blue Construction) is complete; I have signed the contract for another, larger project. When I solicited quotes for my roof replacement (including new gutter installation and the reconstruction of my back steps and landing) I met with Project Manager Juan Carcamo. While every company that bid on my job seemed competent to do the work, I sensed that Juan and his company would be easy to work with. He listened to my concerns and ideas and explained how his company would handle them. Although his was not the lowest bid, I knew this was the best company for this job. I was not wrong! The professionalism of all the employees who worked on this project was amazing. Not only was each individual obviously skilled, they worked together as a very efficient team. There were two change orders to the project. These did not come as a surprise as Juan made sure I was fully informed as the job progressed.One change order was an upgrade in materials for the steps and landing. By the time the old roof had been removed I had decided that I would stay with this companyfor my next job, new siding and windows for the entire house. The second change order was to have the carpenters already on the job installs the rakes prelijminary to the siding job. I've been excited about every aspect of this project so far, but the actual roof installation was amazing! The crew od seven plus a foreman arrived around 7:00 am; before 4:00 they were gone. The job incuded my house (a two-story colonial style structure), a connected one-story sun porch and breezeway, and a one-car garage. They protected everything with sheeting, and they cleaned as they worked. They swept the porch and raked the yard - everything was cleaner after they left than it was when they got there."

"Our building is over 100 years old and located on a small lot at a busy intersection without off-street parking. Sprague was one of only two or three companies that were willing to work on our gutters. We are so glad we hired them. They did a fantastic job. I would say that this was one of the best experiences we have ever had with a contractor. Unlike other contractors we have hired, Sprague did not employ subcontractors. Every person with whom we interacted was personable, accessible, and highly skilled. Mark, the original contact person, made several visits to our building and attended one of our monthly coop meetings to give a detailed presentation on the various options available to us. Jamie and Konnor, who did the bulk of the installation work, were outstanding. In various ways, they all went above and beyond the basics of their jobs. There was a slight delay before the work started because of serious storms in March, but once it started, the work proceeded quickly and efficiently in spite of ongoing weather-related interruptions. On the few occasions when a problem arose, they were responsive and respectful. When they encountered issues requiring work beyond the original contract, they kept us informed and charged us fairly. Our new gutters are beautifully crafted of heavy, high-grade copper, expertly installed, and guaranteed to work for decades. I am confident they will keep us dry for many years to come, and they look gorgeous. It was a big job that entailed removing 3 layers of rolled roofing/asphalt shingles; removing original skylight & taking down old dormant chimney to roof line and roofing over both; installing ½ “ plywood and asphalt shingles over new roof. "I really love the Golden Group. We had them replace our asphalt roof on our house. We had gotten bids from five companies and Golden Group just stood out to me as a company driven by honesty and integrity. We had planned on the roof replacement happening on Wednesday last week - but had a family emergency. The guys showed up at 7 am and started getting setup (right on time), my wife talked with them and they packed up gave me the number for Freddy and said for us to call and they'd return within 48 hours. They even sent flowers expressing their concern for our family emergency. We called Monday they came back Wednesday just like they said. They showed up right after 7 am and got started setting up and worked hard all day. Everything they did was clearly described and they did exactly what they said they would. Not a single surprise. They explained everything all day long - as the project progressed - they showed what was going on and what was happening next. Each step obvious and easy to understand. We ended up having eleven new pieces of plywood - not a surprise. We knew the old roof needed replacing and that just showed it really needed fixing even worse than we imagined. No other problems came up which was good to hear. Clean up, they used an industrial magnet over our yard three times to get up any stray nails. All the old asphalt shingles and anything else - nice and neatly cleaned up. Like other folks have said The Golden Group did an excellent job, very professional very nice folks. I really couldn't ask for any better they did an absolutely wonderful job for us."
