He was also very responsive in answering my questions and assuring me about the quality of installation etc. I got a very competitive bid, so I didn't negotiate the price any further. The installation crew did a great job. AC is working great, and I have a follow up appointment next week for them to come and check that everything is working well, and also to fire up the furnace and complete the humidifier hook up. While he replaced the washer valve I went out and purchased another shower fixture that he then installed. The bathtub fixture had to be ordered and the tech was able to return the day after the fixture arrived and installed that. He did not charge a service charge for return trip.
