"I called JD Appliances about a stack wash machine problem. I left a message and got a return call within an hour. We scheduled an appointment and Jim was right on time, friendly and very knowledgeable about my machine and what was wrong. He had to order something for it but I could still use it in the meantime. He returned within the week and in no time my washer is as good as new. I will definitely recommend JD Appliance to everyone. Jim is not only friendly but knows what he is talking about and explains everything so that you can understand what the problem was and not just say "it's fixed" like most repair people. I was just told it would be sometime on the scheduled date. So I has to wait all day for a call that he was on his way. Not sure if this is typical or just a very busy day for them . "He arrived on time and looked at the unit. Removed the bottom plate to check for any leakage. Asked about grinding noise. No leakage. Suggested that a utensil was dangling and causing the noise. I told him about the leaking rinse aid dispenser, and he told me to contact the company for a new cap. The old one was damaged. He was mindful of costs involved. We talked about appliance brands, and he gave me some good advice. After a short conversation he did me a favor and removed the ice maker in my freezer because I never use it, and it was only taking up space. I paid him, and he left to go to another job.
