"Peter built the home I currently live in 27 years ago. He framed it, roofed it, and sided it making the structure weather tight. I cant begin to tell you how easy he made the process of building a home. There isnt a carpentry project at my home that has been done by anyone other than Pete. His craftsmanship whether its framing or finish work is second to none. Working with Peter was an absolute pleasure and even though we dont talk with one another very often I still consider him to be a friend."

"This is a family-owned business. Mrs. Florentino is a gem to speak with, you feel like they take care of you as they would their own family. When Jorge came over to assess my kitchen, I learned they do more than just flooring, so I asked him to fix a leak in my master bath (the prior homeowner must've hired someone who did a shoddy job w/remodeling the bathrooms). Before Jorge arrived my guest bathroom leaked through the floor and if it wasn't for Jorge I would've lost it. He jumped into action and fixed my guest bathroom shower efficiently and even helped clean up the flooded water and fixed the other leak too. It's so nice to have someone you can trust that can fix other contractors mistakes. He will be my Go-To for any future projects and I feel blessed to have found him on this app. :)"

"Very Professional young man that knows the value of time and detail. He understands to show the entire process from start to finish. Never experience a contractor that gives you even the worst case you have and shows you a full proof plan how to make it the best anyone will ever see. He takes pride and passion with all projects I have. He was hired to handle all my properties and I can finally rest to know I have the best contractor in the world."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
