"From the first site visit/estimate with Jim, the owner, to the completion of our new roof, it was such a pleasure working with Beantown Home Improvements! He (and Samantha, Derek, Eli, and the entire crew) patiently led us through the entire process, answering every question, helping us on color choices, and on and on providing their expertise and support throughout. During the install, the crew was punctual, hardworking, meticulous with their craft, professional, and took great care with our home and property. The project was finished on-time and on-estimate. They even went above and beyond by helping remove old cedar shingles and prepping multiple cheekwall areas adjacent to the roof for a future project we were planning. And the install was not easy, as our roof is large with many angles and cheekwalls to contend with – not to mention that it was done in late December during cold temps and some inclement weather. Honesty and integrity are important to us and are usually hard to find these days, especially in the construction sector. "We had a great experience with On Top Roofing. They returned my call for a quote request within one day and had someone out to give an estimate within a couple of days after that. We obtained several estimates, On Top was the only company that actually climbed up on a ladder to really look at the area of concern and where work needed to be done during the estimate. After we received the quote, the work was done within the scheduled time and completed as agreed. I would definitely consider On Top again for future roofing needs."

"All Under One Roof recently replaced my roof on a 3-story, 200+ year old Federal in Newburyport. It was a big job that entailed removing 3 layers of rolled roofing/asphalt shingles; removing original skylight & taking down old dormant chimney to roof line and roofing over both; installing ½ “ plywood and asphalt shingles over new roof. I can’t say enough good things about All Under One Roof. They had a great crew and did a fantastic job. In fact, my neighbor across the street who had a birds eye view of work in progress, then hired them to replace his roof. John Lanzafame, the company’s owner, is a jewel. He’s very professional, responsible and communicative – a “take charge” guy in the best meaning possible. I was completely comfortable and confident that I was in good hands, and did not have to worry about micro managing the work. I should also point out that All Under One Roof began work on date scheduled (a month in advance) and completed the job (start to finish) in short order. I highly recommend All Under One Roof. "I am VERY late in writing this review, but as I was in the Angies List site I thought I'd put this review in. I can't say enough good things about Vaillancourt Roofing. I had a leak in my roof, winter was coming on and no other roofer would call me back. As an act of humanity Adam and Dave drove down from NH to look at my roof even though they don't do repairs in my area - Carlisle, MA ( I understand they could possibly do roof replacement in my area). They came when they said they would and they found the leak quickly. The leak was from my chimney. They aren't mason's necessarily, but they put a temporary fix to the chimney, so I could rest easy until the next Spring when I could address it. They didn't charge me and were done in about an hour. I wish my roof itself needed replacement, if it did I'd all them in an instant. Just wanted to put in this review as I owe it to these great folks."

"I found Newton Roofing on a local list serve without knowing them at all. Recent wind storms created a lot of damage and I knew it was time to get a new roof. Tom and Rich returned phone calls immediately and gave me a very fair price. Their workers came quickly and completed the project in a very professional manner. In one full day of work, they were able to take off the old shingles, repair boards and leaks, and reshingle the two steep main roofs of my house. They cleaned up immaculately and were extremely safe. They were respectful of my property and fun to work with. It was a whirlwind of a day, but it turned out perfectly! "they replaced the shingles on top of a bay window where there had been an ice dam and added underlayment. The siding on the house is pre-colored Hardie board, while doing the work two of the Hardie boards broke. They replaced the broken boards with two primed but unpainted Hardie boards . They never asked if we had more pre-colored boards in the basement. We did! I asked them to make this right by pulling off the two unpainted panels and putting in the factory painted ones - The asked for an extra 650 which seems like a lot Before the job the communication was great, lots of pictures, but they did not say Hardie board is likely to break - which would would have gotten me to point out where the spares were After the wrong boards went up they were responsive and polite but not helpful The contract that i signed said they were not responsible for painting any siding, so they were technically right but they left me on my own"
