"In June of 2010 my house flooded due to a faulty toilet tank intake line.  Forever Wood Construction was there within 2 hours & begin the steps needed to start the repair of my home.  They helped me move all my belongings out of the way so they could remove the water damaged part of the walls & the damaged flooring.  They set up blowers & dehumidifiers throughout my house to dry it out so they could proceed to put it all back together.  They totally matched the texture on my walls & you can't tell that I've ever had a flood or had any portions of the walls redone!  They even fixed some long standing electrical issues for me.  Great company!  I definitely recommend this company to others."

"Ron returned my call quickly and gave me a price for the job over the phone and he scheduled the appointment. The appointment was for 8:00 am to 9:00 am, Ron arrived at 9:30 am, which I feel is reasonable. Ron had all the necessary tools, extremely polite and professional. He is a perfectionist and his work was excellent. I am asking him to return, to repair rodent damage to the dish washer, install a bar sink and possibly replace, a whole house fan."

"I cannot overstate how happy I am with Ron and his great team from Babylon Builders. I had a dream to have a greenhouse built with a hot tub inside. I was looking for an oasis and a natural garden under one roof. I searched and interviewed many contractors and I at one point thought this idea could not materialize as there were discussions from other contractors who did not seem to get the feel and flow or vision of what I was trying to capture. In addition to the build, the placement of the greenhouse had to be attached to my balcony. "We had been trying to install a patio in our backyard for several months to replace a damaged wooden deck that a previous owner had built (and bulit very poorly at that). With our own labor, we had demolished the deck, attempted to shore up the wooden patio cover, and excavated a pit for a paving stone patio... and then we ran out of gas. After calling several contractors, we finally chose John Irwin and Royal Garden Landscaping, as he indicated that he could do all the work that we wanted, which included re-using pavers that had been installed elsewhere in our yard for the new patio and doing some work on the patio cover to anchor it more securely.
The weekend before the work started was the tail end of the big storm system that swept through Northern California in early December, so the entire backyard was flooded, including the pit that we had dug for the foundation of the patio. John came over on a Saturday afternoon with a sump pump that he loaned us to drain the yard, and the work started the following Monday.
The entire week was on and off rain, but the Royal Garden Landscaping crew worked tirelessly over several days to complete the job. The mason did a great job, and the prep crew worked their butts off to get everything ready for the installation. When it came time to work on the patio cover, there were some significant difficulties for the crew, as the existing structure, like the deck that it once covered, was not especially well-built, but they literally worked into DARKNESS (remember this was early December) to get the work done. The entire job took four days total (an additional day was lost due to rain) and finished by Friday evening. John returned with the mason and the carpenter once the work was completed to do some follow up work, and he also made sure that the clean up was done properly. We are very happy with our new patio and appreciate all the work that John Irwin and Royal Garden Landscaping did to get it done in a timely and professional manner.
