"Very happy with the quality, timing and price. Good communication as well. The old roof had to be removed from both the main house and detached garage. The house had multiple layers of shingles that needed to come off and the garage also had the original cedar shingles in addition to the many layers of asphalt shingles. It was very messy getting the old roof off but the crew was really good about cleaning up. At the end of the first day the yard was a clean as it was before the work started. The entire job took only two days and the crew was able to start work the same week I signed the contract. Because less plywood was used than was quoted, the final price was even a few bucks less than the contracted price I agreed to. So overall I am very happy. Pete Petrochilos and his entire team were extremely professional and the workmanship was superb.  They came when they said they would come and cleaned up after they finished their work each day.  They were polite and dedicated.  Pete was a real gentleman and kept his word on everything that he promised.  If there was a concern, he answered his phone, no matter what the hour and resolved every situation to my complete satisfaction.  His business ethics are of the highest standard and truly unheard of in todays marketplace.  I would recommend him highly to anyone who is looking to have high quality work done without worry or frustration and with the added knowledge that he backs up all his work.  Although his price may have been a bit higher than some, the materials he used, including the insulation, gutters, siding etc. were of the best quality and warranted the very slightly higher cost.  He did a beautiful job!  I have a friend who is extremely knowledgeable and very discerning.   He has already had commented on the flawlessness of Pete's work and now want to use him as well.

Addendum: I had a question a year later about a section of the siding on the upstairs deck.  He drove out to my house in the heat and heavy beach traffic (about an hour) and explained to me why it had been done the way it was done (correctly, I might add).  He wouldn't even take a dime for his trouble.  This is just the kind of service and consideration that can be expected of him.

I never heard from him despite the several messages I left at his office. Rich was the third roofer to come by. He measured, he explained the product, he gave me a timeline, and he calculated a price. I'm glad I followed my gut and hired him on the spot. It was a smart decision."

The three guys did their job. I ask for an guarantee, and it was done over the phone, the same day. They were very good. I think I paid a fair price, I paid for the job I got. I was very satisfied. A lot of times, what are you going to do jump on your roof, and see if its done right. I had done my research on them. I had an neighbor who use to do roofing when he was a young man. He would tell me look over here, its a great job. The membranes are done right, look at the gauge on the copper. I paid for it, but I got a good job. Being an woman, people might take an advantage. They were running around in Queens, roofers, said, you needed a new roof. A woman paid $4000, and she thought she was getting a new roof, but she got the silver coating. They were actually on the news. About how the home owners were getting rip offs with silver paint. Its silver coating to make your roof last longer. It reflects your roof in the summer, and reflects the cold in the winter. I got what I paid for. Not cheap. They even came a little earlier. I hopefully don't have to use them.
