"This company was referred by another company on this list. The other company was candid and directed me to this company based on my account of the situation. Ajax sent someone out within 3 hours. Since this is a newly renovated house and I just moved in, the plumber was quick to assess that the clog was probably due to contraction debris. Initially, we could not find the main trap because it was tiled under the basement floor without any sign of its location. He did a very neat job of breaking through a few tiles to find the pipes in question and did not damage surrounding tiles. In total, two plumbers showed up and spent about two and a half hours unclogging some pretty usual debris, apparently left by my general contractor. Both men were also good enough to advise me about taking pictures of the debris and explained where the pipes were running to/from. The final bill was very detailed about the job and the cause of the problem. They were also very careful to clean the entire area when they were done. It was worth it to have it done right.
