"I clearly informed the provider about the size of my house (basement, first floor, second floor - I excluded two rooms so second floor was two bathrooms, bedroom, hallway). Brent came on time and worked for 4 hours. I asked if he was working alone and he stated that an assistant was expected. Assistant never came. Brent did a good job with the areas he attended to, but I discovered more and more BASIC things that had not been done, not had Brent said anything about needing to return another day or something like that. NOT DONE: toilet bowls and toilet seats were not cleaned, toilet tank cover not wiped down. FLOORS WERE NOT MOPPED.*Many kitchen countertops were NOT WIPED DOWN.* When I reached out to Brent about this later in the day, he was extremely defensive. He stated that he'd cleaned for 4 hours (true) and suggested that should be sufficient. Despite my listing clearly the BASIC things that were not done, he tried to deny that the were reasonable expectations. (Wiping down the kitchen countertops is not a given in a house cleaning??). I reminded him that an assistant was supposed to work alongside him and never did - had the assistant been there, the work would have gotten done. If Brent became aware at some point that he couldn't reasonably finish the job for the quoted price ($225) or the time he had, HE SHOULD HAVE JUST SIMPLY STATED THIS TO ME, not deny it and try to justify his omissions. Stupidly, I sent him a tip of $35 before I saw clearly how much had not been done. I requested a partial refund. Haven't heard from him."

Angelo was very punctual, quick to respond and answer any questions we had, and was very fair and up front with all the work that was done. We love our newly polished and refinished floors, it's above and beyond what we had expected. "update 1/19/26 Fast forward to January 2026, and we reached out to Marcin again to fix a small section of flooring in another room. He remembered the problem from before, which was a good sign. But from there, things went downhill. Every message he sent about the new project came with a pushy request for a review. He insisted that we post a review before he would schedule an in-person consultation. To get him off my back, I posted a vague 5-star review. Marcin then told us he was available Friday through Sunday and would give us a one-hour warning before arriving. He followed up by saying, Planning Sat 11am-12pm. I took that to mean he would show up at 11am, and the consultation would run from 11am to 12pm. But when he texted me at 11am saying he d be there in an hour, I immediately told him that time no longer worked for us. I realize now that his message was a bit unclear, and I should ve asked for clarification, but I thought I was being clear in letting him know right away that the new time didn t work for us. When he showed up at 12pm instead and blamed me for the confusion, it just felt unprofessional. He refused to reschedule, saying, I will not be risking coming here for nothing again. I totally get that it s a long drive for him, but I let him know right away that I wasn t available at the new time. Instead of acknowledging the mix-up, he put all the blame on me, which was frustrating. The whole experience was disappointing, mainly because of the pushy review requests, the lack of communication, and how he handled the scheduling issue. Did a great job with replacing water damaged wood floor. I appreciate that Marcin was willing to speak up and give his opinion on what would work and what doesn't. "
