"We had a roof that was nearly 30 years old and was starting to lose its shingles, and was in dire need of replacing. After getting some rather high-priced quotes from half a dozen roofers, a friend of ours who had work done by Vellox gave us their number and they came out and gave us the best offer. On the day of the job, the crew came out on time and got it all done within a day, and did a very good job cleaning up afterward. Vellox did such a good job that even our neighbor texted us right before they finished to compliment them on how good it looked! I can't recommend them enough and highly encourage giving them a call if you need any work done."

"The job went very well. The Operations Manager Elias told me that he would be there for the whole job and he was. He kept me updated on everything that was going on such as delivery of materials and a dumpster, what day and time they would arrive to start work. Whenever I had a question all I had to do is give him a call and he was always available. We also needed some skylights replaced which was handled by Elias. He worked with "The Sky's The Limit" a Velux installer to remove the old skylights and install the new ones. Before the job started he explained to me about all the Owens Corning products they were going to use and why and even had samples of the shingle, underlayment, ice barrier and nails used. The roofing was completed in one day and the skylights the next day. After they left nothing was left behind, very good cleanup, no nails in the yard or pieces of shingle, even the gutters were cleaned out. Now when I drive into the driveway it looks like a new house."

"It went exceptionally well!!! Andrei was able to get started on the job very quickly. He and his crew showed-up every morning right on time and got right to work. They were always courteous and professional. I found them to be quite versatile and competent in their skills. Whenever I would come up with a question, no matter who I was speaking to, they always listened, gave me their full attention and responded knowledgeably. The new roof and cedar shingles were done perfectly and they cleaned up around the house and left the grounds probably looking a bit better than how it looked when they arrived. Andrei discovered a few issues with the plywood sheathing dating back to when the house was built and he knew exactly how to fix it. He made just a few suggestions (during the job) which I really appreciated. He asked if I had any intentions of replacing the south side bedroom window because replacement would be much easier and less costly if they "trimmed out" the perimeter first, before applying the cedar shingles there. I do need to replace that window fairly soon, so his suggestion was quite timely. I will definitely call upon Bel Islands Home improvement again!"

"I contacted Byam Construction for a roof repair estimate in September of 2022. Mr. Byam promptly came to the house to evaluate and provide a written detailed quote. Prior to hiring, without obligation, he applied a temporary patch to prevent any additional damage. After evaluating several quotes, I hired Byam Construction. As scheduled, his worker showed up on time and completed the work in a professional manor. It has been several months and the repair survived the winter and I expect it will survive many more. Roger was not the lowest estimate. However, he was one of few to conduct business professionally. The quality of work and conduct of his employees reflects this.
