"?????⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I called in LATE on a FRIDAY afternoon. APRIL enthusiastically answered, FIRST ring, & I explained the awful noise from my sump pump. She got me on the next day's schedule. Saturday! I gave her the specs of the unit & she calmly took notes for the technician. Jimmy texted on his way, arrived timely & had all the necessary parts stocked in the truck! He completed the changeout in record time & accepted credit card payment. The entire process couldn't have went any smoother! The new Zoeller unit runs so quiet, I don't hear it at all in the house. After seeing the shooting plume of water, I informed Craig the SM & his followup exceeded my expectations. Great team to work with; excellent service, fair price! Ten Stars!"

"when tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great"

"They are very good, and very prompt.  They came to do the work the day after I called them.  About three years ago, they put the pump in for me, so it was under warranty but I had to pay for the labor for them to pull it out and replace it.  We will continue to use them in the future. "

"There is no better more professional company in Harford County. You are assured to have it done correctly and to code the first time, without delay. They are a bit more money but not by much. There are new regulations regarding hot water heaters that went into effect in 2015 regarding energy efficiency. Most people are just downsizing to 50 gallon heaters if they had larger electric water heaters because if you do not have natural gas, the only option for a larger tank is a hybrid - and they are not cheap. Home Depot sells one for $2,000.00. We had a 80 gallon hybrid Bradford White installed for about $3200.00. But that included a small breaker box and piping for the condensation drain from the heat pump portion of the heater and the piping from the drain pan to the Sump drain also. They came out for $40, drained our old water heater that sprung a leak when every other business was closed. Having a baby, hot water was an immediate necessity. We called the day after Christmas and it was installed the next morning. The plumber Mark was masterful, professional and outstanding. We had other options insofar as service provides go but the $500 difference was worth that and more. The other providers had no idea what they were talking about and just wanted to sell the cheapest tank with the highest markup. Our house required the larger tank and that was our problem. If you want a company that knows what they are doing without any question, Level is the answer. I know that when I resell the home, everything is done to code and I am assured that the leak we had with the old tank will never happen again because of the professional installation."

"Not impressed.  Wish I had not switched companies. <br>My old company did not insist I have a sediment filter but I can see the logic of it so installed one.  They charged $295 for the 10" big blue filter and $275 for installation along with a dual tank water softener (which is approximately $41 per mo.)   <br> <br>The installation seemed to be fine. Didn't notice the big improvement in water quality they seemed to indicate I would get.  However, after two weeks my water began smelling like rotten eggs (I test negative for sulphur but seems like it may be sulphur reducing bacteria?--cant get an answer).  I asked for a tech to come out to check why and they sent a person who had no real knowledge of the equipment or issues and could not answer any of my questions so I wasted a day off for nothing.  I could not get a satisfactory answer from the salesperson so I was stuck trying to find a way to eliminate the smell by searching the internet.  I still am working with various filters to resolve it.  <br> <br>After the installation, my water sounded like it was running all the time but because of my hearing difficulty I could not pinpoint where it was coming from exactly so I assumed it was the water softener. Upon receiving a  very high electric bill and noticing a stream of hot water coming out of the outside drain pipe, I realized my hot water heater was running all the time and the release valve was partly open.  The plumber said there is a good chance that the installers accidentally opened the hot water release valve during the installation.  I understand that can happen in such close quarters but just wish I had known sooner because I could have saved several hundred dollars had I known right away. <br> <br>Today I called for a salt delivery.  They only deliver one day a week and won't give an expected appointment time.  I would have to take a full day off to accept the delivery when they show up.  REALLY?  In this day and age, you can't do better than this?  I can just hear my boss now when I tell him I need to be home to accept a salt delivery. <br> <br>I will complete one year of the contract and nothing more.  Not impressed. <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br>"

"The longest part of the project was waiting for the local natural gas supplier to install the gas service and meter.  That took nearly two months from the time I made initial contact with the gas company, until they had the service installed. <br /> The actual installation took only one day, approximately 10 hours with a crew of 3 men.  The crew arrived promptly at 8:00 A.M. and except for a lunch break around noon, the crew almost continuously throughout the day.  The crew performed their tasks without unnecessary wasted time or effort. <br /> The removal of the old boiler, pumping out the oil tank and the actual removal of the oil tank was preformed quite quickly.  <br />"

"The sales person was very friendly and took his time to explain exactly what we should expect. He showed us a video of why we were getting water in our basement and the process of installing a sump pump system. I cannot say this for the other sales people at other companies we interviewed. The day of the install the two men were 3 1/2 hours late due to being given the wrong location of our town. Who knew that there were 3 towns in PA with the same name. Once they arrived they were very respectful, polite and ready to do the job. They sectioned off work area with plastic in order to keep the dirt and dust from the rest of the house. They did their job and cleaned up well. They showed us how it would work when they were done. We feel they did a good job at what was needed. We would hire them again if needed. <br />"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Woolford, MD

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
