"We contracted with Coast to Coast Masonry after Romen visited our house and unlike the other three contractors that visited, was the only one to climb on the roof and notice that the original concrete chimney cap had cracked. What was originally a simple brick repair and tuck pointing job became a major chimney repair, but we were ready for that and agreed that this isn't a job that gets less expensive the longer it is put off. The mason team arrived 2 weeks after the the contract was signed and spent 1.5 weeks repairing, replacing, sealing, and tuck pointing every distressed brick on our house. It took them two days just to do the demo on the top of the chimney. They found multiple instances of additional damage and never raised the price. After the work was completed we knew that we'd not only stopped the clock on the brick damage that was occurring due to corners cut in the original construction, but that we'd built something that would really stand the test of time. Coast to Coast Masonry was fantastic to work with and we will definitely hire them again should the need arise."

"My wife and I could not be happier with the work and the professionalism of The Concrete Man and his people. We highly recommend them. First, I want to note that my wife and I have done a lot of work on our house over the years, including a complete three-story addition that doubled the living space of our house. We consider ourselves very experienced when it comes to hiring professionals and gauging the quality of their work. This job was straightforward. We needed a 10 foot, octagonal concrete pad placed as a foundation for a gazebo we intended to install. The concrete pad was to be located in the back corner of our property and due to a fence and a detached garage, there was no way to bring equipment back to the exact jobsite. We first met Steve who quoted the job. In spite of the COVID restrictions, he maintained the kind of friendly professionalism that you want to see in a contractor. The quote was ready for us directly, but because of unrelated work on our part, we delayed our acceptance. In fact, we lost the quote and I had to return to Angies List to try to find the contractor again. In spite of the delay, Steve remembered who we were and our project and, in fact, lined our project up with another project in the area for simplicity and efficiency. We needed the pad by a certain date, and he beat that date by a week. The team who arrived to do the work was simply outstanding. They were very attentive to our specific requirements. They were very patient in explaining our options. Finally, once they finished, they performed the single best jobsite cleanup that I have ever witnessed. My backyard was cleaner than it was before they got there. I highly recommend this company. I will hire them again."

"Office was very professional in discussing my needs over the phone and offered to provide an initial estimate if I could e-mail them photos of the relevant sidewalk slabs.  When I went to their Website to fill out a request-for-evaluation, I received a prompt response from Greg Moffett, indicating that he would be by within 5 days to estimate the work. <br /> In about 5 days, I received a detailed email describing all aspects of the job, but indicating that the work I requested was not suitable for their service (lifting/'mudjacking').  I appreciated their candor in coming right out and saying that they could not help me with my problem.  I continued to search for other concrete contractors on Angie's. <br />"

"This company was great. It was try number 5, after dealing with hard sells to rip up my basement floor taking hours, upsells, price increases, false warranties, wasting my time, this company was a breath of fresh air. They gave me a price (which was good) over the phone of which they honored. They did not try to upsell me at all, but simply offered me a choice, I could use Epoxy or the foam. They explained why the foam was better, and since had a lifetime warranty on either, we just used the foam. The guy did the work right there on the spot, and was done a few hours later, leaving no mess. We just had a huge rain, and no leaks... dry basement. These guys are the ones to hire... no sales people to waste your time measuring and calculating... just the person who does the work giving you an honest assessment and then doing it. Nice to see some of those still exist!"

"When water's coming in you need service asap, not 3 weeks later. Keith scheduled quickly, answered questions & called back promptly when we had more questions, even over the weekend. Jim, an owner, did the work & explained all. Didn't try to get us to do work that wasn't needed - i.e. c.racks that weren't leaking. Went above & beyond & even caulked an outside area where more water was seeping in - another big company refused to do that. Checked floor drains too. Highly satisfied & would recommend."

"The project went really, really well.  The wall looks fantastic, and Richard was able to take a difficult/nonstandard project and make things easy for me.  The project required (a) working with our building association, (b) finding materials that would match the existing look of our building, and (c) coming up with a strong/durable solution that would work for an apartment terrace under difficult constraints (limited places to fasten the wall to the building).  Richard handled all of that -- at a very fair price (I got multiple estimates) & with little effort required on my end (I wasn't even in the city when the work was planned & completed).  The wall looked really good. <br /> Separately, Richard has done great work for me in installing an external kitchen exhaust through our roof (we are on the top floor of an apartment building), in addition to other work.  He's always been quick to respond to calls/emails.  I've really appreciated his help over the years. <br />"

The project was completed in a couple of days and Bud modified the design as needed in collaboration with our landscape architect. We are pleased with the results."
