Customers say: Quick response

"Reliable and responsible, with a fair rate and experienced suggestions. My wife and I found ourselves in a bind with an unfinished project when our welder’s machine broke. We reached out to several companies via Angi, but Kevin’s Mobile Fabrication and Welding exceeded our expectations in every aspect of the project. We received a call from Kevin within a few minutes of placing a request for an estimate. The same week, he came and reviewed the project, walked us through the process, gladly answered additional questions and came to complete the project for us as promised. The impressive part was his strong work ethic, as well as completion of the project within a limited timeframe, and excellent quality work. We highly recommend Kevin’s Mobile Fabrication and Welding for your projects, and we will be using his services again in the future."

Customers say: Super punctual

"On day of booking informed I would not be there but assured the Handyman will call and review when onsite. That never happened, calls were only done or relayed with Cistomer Servuce Reos. One speaking terrible English you couldn?t understand. Two metal post mailboxes they took upon their own doing to change to a cheap 4x4 vs the steel post that was there originally hired to replace. Follow-up day after and Terrible customer service! Request to talk to the owner and the arrogant customer service rep leaves no option to discuss things with the owner with multiple request. Just as yesterday before the work was done asked to talk to the Handyman onsite and was never able to discuss any details with him to avoid materials being substituted at their own doing. "

FAQs for wrought iron fence repair or weld projects in Worth, IL

Wrought iron fence installation costs $1,200 to $4,200 on average. Your final cost depends on several factors, including the length and height of the fence, the intracity of the ornamental design, and the quality of the materials used. Iron fences cost $7,000 or more to install on the high end. Wrought iron fences are more expensive than fences made using other materials.

Wrought iron railings cost an average of $2,600, including labor and materials. Hiring a professional to install iron railings is crucial to ensure accuracy and safety. The price depends on the type of metal used, installation location, aesthetic elements, and whether you’re installing it indoors or outdoors. Materials include plain black iron, galvanized iron, and ornamental iron.

You should never paint over rusted wrought iron fencing. All this does is mask the underlying issue, as rust can slowly deteriorate the integrity of your iron fence, diminishing its durability and stability. Painting over a rusted fence also causes poor paint adhesion, which can lead to flaking. Be sure to remove rust and smooth the surface before painting.
