"Installed concrete pavers for a 225sqft patio and fixed a 40ft retaining wall (added proper draining, grid-ex, and re-leveled). Came in competitively prices, worked with me to address all concerns, and completed both projects in 2.5days and on budget. Would highly recommend for any patio or retaining wall projects."

"They worked very hard to level and square the retaining walls and patios. We were very impressed by the lack of cutting corners. Our original patio and retaining walls were never properly installed and they appear to have corrected this problem. For years, we also had a drainage problem on the two sides of the house. They installed a French drain on one side and a basin drain on the other. Time will tell if this completely solves the problem, but the drains were working over the last two days of rain. We were so impressed by the quality of their work that we are having them come back to do a few more landscaping items.

"Hector is a very good professional contractor . He provided a good design for my walkway and completed the work to my satisfaction. My neighbors are also so impressed and asking for his contact! Hector even came back to fix minor repairs at my request, that included replacing few damaged pavers and sprinkler head leaks. I will recommend Hector to anyone as he is very reliable and expert landscaper!"

"Extensive work done in a reasonable time frame. Problem solved. OC Elite was the fifth of five contractors we contacted to fix the problem. They were the only one that gave us a real, complete and permanent fix."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Worton, MD

Installing interlocking pavers takes between four and 10 days, depending on the project's size and complexity. The process involves careful excavation, precise leveling, and building a stable base before placing the pavers. Larger projects or challenging site conditions may require more time to ensure a durable and attractive result that stands the test of time.

It's not recommended to place pavers directly on dirt. For the best results, you'll need to lay a foundation of gravel or sand to create a leveled and compacted base. This ensures proper drainage below the pavers, preventing erosion and shifting over time. An uneven or unstable base can cause the pavers to move or settle improperly, affecting the appearance and longevity of your installation.

Installing interlocking pavers yourself involves rigorous preparation and careful execution. This DIY approach requires excavation, precise leveling, and building a proper base using gravel or sand to ensure stability. The project demands at least two to three full days of intensive manual work and the use of specialized tools. Alternatively, hire a paver installer for professional results.

Concrete stone and clay brick pavers are the top choices for homeowners. They offer robust performance and an attractive finish that elevates outdoor living areas. These materials are engineered for superior durability and design flexibility, ensuring long-term strength and style. Selecting the right paver type maximizes the overall appeal and functionality of your space while meeting all design and performance standards.
