"We moved into a new house, and it was really bland in terms of color. The house is a classic farmhouse, and there was some charm in the wood bannister and moldings, but I wanted some color to better bring out the character. Erika with Birdie & Brush really helped envision my hopes into color choices that my hubby and I could agree on. Now, we’ve got a beautiful mustard living room, a soft blue master bedroom, and my rich pink office. And speaking of my office— it had once been a kid’s bedroom, and the walls had been pretty gross— lots of weird bumps around the room. Erika went through and smoothed everything out before painting (see pics). We’re getting ready to start a studio addition project soon, and I will definitely be giving Birdie & Brush a call when its time to paint!"

"I had a horrendous paint job done by a local hack who did super on interior but did not know what he was doing when he said he can do exterior, too. It failed in 6 months. So I waited almost five years to write this review to see how it would hold up. So far so great! They did an excellent job of prep which in my case was scraping down to bare cedar clapboards and even indulged my anxiety and primed the 50 year old galvanized nail heads which also got scraped of course. They got me in touch with a contractor who did some wood repair quickly (although I have not had as much luck getting them back to do other stuff, guess Clarke had the magic touch there). Joe did most of the work back then on my house and he was excellent. He stayed on it till it was done, no disappearing acts. I recommended Clarke to a neighbor for interior work and they liked them too."

"Leslie Hayden, Owner of Creative Visions Interior Design, was extrenely easy to work with and made the process of making critical decisions much less stressful. She is not afraid to give you her honest opinion, which is refreshing as it surely saved a ton of time and helped to get us both on the same page very quickly. She made herself available to meet with me even when it was inconvenient for her (for example the time she drove to Portland from a job 45 minutes away, just to give me paint samples to review, so my painter could start a day ealier.  She then returned to that job site). She is extremely professional, knowledgeable and conscientious.   In the end, I could not have gotten through the renovation without her and her expertise provided me with a home that is simply stunning.
