"Arrived promptly.  Not knowing where the tank was, I shared the blueprint and pipe leaving the house.  He had me flush a signal device which he then tracked to the precise location.  He dug down to the tank lid.  Pumped 1,250 gallon tank.  <br /> Provided me with valuable information I was not aware of.  Water level was above pipe and should have been below, could indicate issue with leach field or just be because we were overdue for being pumped.  If we notice toilet gurgling, we will call him back to investigate the leach field.  Recommended pumping every 4 years and flushing 16 oz. warm water with 5-6 yeast cubes dissolved, monthly.  Recommended single ply toilet paper, liquid soaps and detergents, no feminine products, no 'flushable' wipes, and no grease.  <br /> Thankfully we had removed the existing garbage disposal already.  They are a no-no for septic systems.  Not sure what the original homeowners were thinking.  ;-) <br /> I am going to buy two 24" round 6" high plastic risers and a 24" round lid so the tank will not have to be dug up after the next pump. <br /> I paid by credit card and was given a receipt, a magnet with the pump date and recommended next schedule date, and two business cards. <br /> Very personable and I highly recommend! <br />"

"Serviceman was named Troy.  Was very careful to explained exactly what needed to be done.  I had an unusual problem with toilet flange that required additional work.  Really liked that he didn't assume how the faucet handles should be positioned.  Left bathroom clean and old plumbing was put outside so that I could take it to the street. <br /> The only negative comment I have for Martel; would be the inital phone call.  When I called to make the appointment, I felt I had to pull information out of the receptionist.  Like what their rates where, appointment times (thought my appointment time was at 9am--when really it was between 9 and 11am) and giving them my contact information. <br /> Would definitely contact them again if I have another plumbing issue. <br />"

"<p>We called Seacoast to get a second opinion (following the use of another vendor stating that the job would be a 5-7 thousand dollar job).  Seacoast came immediately the next day to review an iPhone video that I had taken from computer screen of previous vendor.  Seacoast set up schedule for repair before leaving our home that day.</p> <p>Seacoast immediately diagnosed the problem(s) and gave us an immediate ball park figure on cost.   In the follow up visit to correct problems, Seacoast assessed sewer pipe issues we were having with a computerized camera that allowed us to save the video evaluation to view on line (i.e., I did not need to shoot a video on my iPhone of a computer screen).  Camera equipment was able to go out to 200 feet so we were able to assess the entire sewer line from the house to the town connection.  Seacoast's charge for this portion of the job was only a fraction of what our previous vendor had charged us and Seacoast's camera and other location equipment was definitely state-of-the-art.  </p> <p>Seacoast came at our convenience to dig up the driveway and replace almost 70 feet of sewer pipe and jet clean the remainder of the line.  An outdoor clean-out was installed so if problems were ever to re-occur, the mess will stay outdoors and not in our basement.  The entire project only took one morning and we are back up and running (literally).  Jack and the excavator he used (Spinney & Son) were right on time, got right to work,  were very friendly and talked us through every phase of the project.</p> <p>I highly recommend Seacoast Sewer & Drain Inc., and have already told my plumber that this is the company he should be recommending to his customers with sewer line problems.</p> <br />"
