Since the valve is located behind the drywall, he explained that he would have to cut the drywall in order to access and look at the valve. He gave an estimate for this part. After cutting open the drywall, he tested the valve for the leak and showed me the leak. This valve is situated such that it would have taken a whole day to replace it and would have involved cutting more drywall and 4x2s. Robert suggested that he can try to fix the valve to which I gladly agreed. He did, and fixed the valve and made sure there was no more leak. The whole job took a little over an hour and I ended up saving lot of money and headache. In addition, the job is guaranteed for 4 years which is way more than industry average.
