"Antonio came out and replaced my sprinkler valve system! He is a very nice guy and so was the owner Eric. I am very pleased. I was going to pay $1500 for the same work with Just Sprinkers and he only charged me $275. I canâ t tell you how relieved I was that it was fixed so quick and for a lot less."

"I can't say enough good things about Anything Sprinkler! David arrived promptly to replace the pump on my fountain and ensure that my drip and sprinkler systems were ready to go. I truly believe the Anything Sprinkler crew can do anything--from rebuilding an orphaned irrigation valve (which two other companies told me couldn't be fixed) to pouring a concrete walkway to extending a block wall and building and installing a gate. Everything has been beautifully done. A shout out to Anything Sprinkler's professionalism, exceptional work, and personal service!"

"Ed came to our house, assessed the job and provided an estimate. He was very friendly and professional. We agreed on a time when they would start the work. Armando, Eric and Victor worked very hard to remove the old grass and level the ground. This took quite some time since they had to remove a lot of roots. They laid the topsoil, installed the sod and replaced the sprinkler heads. These men were courteous and extremely efficient. They finished the job in only two days. My lawn looks beautiful and I am very pleased. I called to have someone "tweak" the direction of the sprinklers and Ed came and fixed the heads. I would gladly recommend this company."

"The original installer must have learned everything he knew by watching bad YouTube videos. John came and replaced the valves, relocated the anti-syphon piping and did an amazing job cleaning up a landslide of mud. He had to dig out four feet of mud to find a leak that had been running for 10 years that no one else had found. He did an amazing job! You will be amazed at how professional and thorough John is. I'll never call anyone else."

"When I turned on the sprinklers in late February, water came up through the valves and through the ground next to one of the new sprinkler heads. I called Discount Sprinklers and they sent someone out to fix it a couple days later. The person who came did not ring the bell to let me know he was here and left without any communication with me. But he left paper and a stick in the main valve so I assumed the job was not done. After no word from Discount Sprinklers for a few days, I called them to see what was up. Rudy said he'd send someone out to check it but my husband insisted that Rudy come out himself to see it-- we felt he really should see what a poor job had been done. Rudy came out on a Monday, looked at it, and said he'd send someone out on Friday. The person showed came on Friday and spent a few hours working. It began to rain and he said he also need to go to a different job. He left a big hole where the valves were, his snack trash, and a pile of dirt on top of the tulips that were starting to coming up. Our yard was left like that all weekend. The worker thought he would be back on Friday or Saturday, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt--I understand that emergencies come up, rain gets in the way, etc. On Monday I called Rudy to see what was up (I was beginning to notice a pattern where he didn't bother contacting us first to tell us the status of the work...) He said he would send someone up after lunch. By 3pm I was getting agitated and was starting to feel like my kindness and patience was being taken for granted. I felt like we were at the bottom of the priority list. I called Rudy once again and told him that someone needed to come up and fix our yard that day. Indeed, a worker came by an hour later. I'm just sorry it took getting upset to get results. The worker who showed up apologized, but he also told us that the guy who worked on the yard on Friday did the job wrong. He ripped everything out and started over. He left at 5pm but was back the next morning by 8:30 am and finished the job that morning. As my husband was leaving the house the worker had him sign-off on some papers, then the worker left. When I went out to look at it I was happy to see that the yard was clean and the job looked done, however he had used sand and rocks to fill a hole in the lawn and the flower bed where the valves are. Now, I'm no lawn expert but I'm pretty sure grass doesn't grow in sand. And I'll have to pick out all the rocks before we mow. And I also have to replace the sand in the flower bed. And I noticed the other day that water was filling one of the valves again. Rudy never called us or came by after the last worker left to see if we were satisfied."

"Brent and his right-hand man Jose did a great job in installing a new drip irrigation system - replacing our 22 year old leaky system! Brent installed about 245 feet of new supply line and about 60 bubblers/emitters at a very reasonable price. Brent provided the estimate, and within less than 2 weeks was able to schedule and complete the work. Both Brent and Jose are very professional and friendly, and spent the time to make sure that they provided exactly what we were looking for. We definitely recommend Brent Dean Landscaping and will definitely hire them in the future."

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Albuquerque, NM

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
