"Adam did a great job. He was on time, inspected the chimney and said it was cleaner than he would have expected given the length of time since the last cleaning. He gave me the option of deferring the cleaning for several months, which would save the added cost. I chose to have the cleaning done instead of scheduling a second visit. Adam put down tarps to protect the carpeting, brought in his tools and went to work immediately. It seemed like he was in and out in no time! I would definitely recommend him."

"We contacted Straightline Construction to replace our house’s skylight that had a large crack in it (previously plastic). Phil, the Project Manager, was extremely professional and measured our skylight for replacement. He provided us with multiple options, from a standard glass replacement to skylights with shades (manual or solar). We decided on the skylight with a solar shade. Straightline made the process extremely easy. We absolutely loved how it turned out, very high quality. The two person installation team did a great job and even installed the remote to open and close the shade in our kitchen. While installing the skylight they also sealed exposed nails and painted and resealed flashings. I highly recommend Straightline for your roofing needs. (I forgot to take before pictures of the inside of the old skylight. You could hardly see out of it and there was a large crack. Now we see clearly out of it.)"

"Westco was amazing. their bid came in thousands lower than two other bids we received. they were effecient, professional and very happy workers...actually singing on the job! the forman checked in often and kept me up to date on the progress and procedures. they replaced several pieces of rotten wood around the edges of the roof as well. replaced some broken supports under the roof also. we were living inn the house at the time and all went very smoothly and all was cleaned up when done. highly recommend."

"An old Buck Stove insert had been in the fireplace for many years. It was showiing signs of age, rust, etc. The home will be used for a rental and I thought it best to have it removed and the fireplace and chimney inspeced for safety. Jerry's had been recommended by another company that was unable to perform the work when needed. Jerry and his assistant arrived right on time. I was worried about the new carpet that had just been installed but they were very careful to keep everything clean. They had the old stove out in about half an hour and the cleaning and inspection was completed in about an hour. I was informed that the fireplace was unsafe for use. Missing morter, and exposed rebar in the chimney and smoke chamber amoung other things. I was informed of the alternatives and given some good advice. They were very professional and no pressure to buy other services or products.. I would use them again for my own home."

He was prompt, and very respectful of my time commitments for the day by working quickly. He swept the chimney, cleaned up, and made additional comments on what good shape my fireplace was in structurally (which he did not need to do). His experience in repairing chimneys after the 1989 earthquake has allowed him to spot damage and issues quickly, so his encouragement that mine was in great shape was welcomed.
