"Let me say 1st off, they DID offer a quote and I broke the cardinal rule of not obtaining more than 1 quote, simply because of convenience to myself. Ed arrived around 2:15 PM and I received text for quote at 2:23. At 2:56, I received notification of charge, from credit card company. $415 to run "snake through the roof vent to clear the mainline stoppage"...for less than a 30 min job. Not sure which snake/auger he used but guessing my one service call at least came close to paying for another unit, if using pro grade. The service manager left me a message that day after my complaint, to which I never followed-up on. I chalked this up to lessons learned - ABSOLUTELY get more than 1 quote before proceeding, if you are able to. 2nd lesson, do not use Admiral Plumber if trying to get lower pricing. They may be a wonderful company but I can only imagine there are plumbers/master plumbers out there who are not so proud of their work."

"Called Reliable to get a 2nd opinion, talked to them about the "report" I got from another septic company.  The owner got on the phone, gave me a time he could meet the next day and offered to do an "Estimate" for free. <br /> The next day came, he called within the window he said, met me at the house I was looking to purchase... He reviewed the report with me, started to dig up access holes for the tank. <br /> He pointed out what the report said - but said "huh that outlet pipe looks wrong"  he had his helper dig up that pipe, adjusted it with a shovel and fixed the problem in 10 min.  The other company wanted $600 to try another fix and anywhere from $3200 to 6500 for a new system. <br /> The owner explained everything to me as they worked.  Even ran a test with all the houses water running and a hose to show draining was working perfect now..... <br /> He charged us $200 for the repair, cemented around the adjust outlet pipe, closed the tops, raked the yard. <br /> I saved hundreds to thousands of dollars by calling reliable and will no call them whenever I need any septic work done.... <br />"

"On the day Hurricane Isaac came through Vero Beach, our one toilet was cracked (by my husband very early that morning) and we called Meeks Plumbing that same morning. They recommended what we should do, and we went to their offices and picked out two styles we liked. (We decided to change both bathrooms because the other toilet was very old and ready to fall apart, literally.) The plumber, Stan, was here by 9:30 a.m. the next morning as promised, was very professional and kind, had all the tools and equipment he needed and was finished by 11:30. We were so impressed by his speed with what he did; he wasn't appearing to rush through his job. He just knew what he was doing. <br /> Additionally, he advised my husband about our main water line into the house and the fix it needed and didn't charge any extra time that it took with that (about 30 minutes). <br /> We know some of the Meeks family in Vero Beach, and have done business with them before.
