"All the guys that helped with this work were awesome! There was one issue that occurred but not really anyone's fault. The horizontal drilling team ran their drill right through our sewer line, but both the drillers and plumbers worked together to fix the sewer line. And we were not charged for the snafu. My only gripe is the new box used to cover the water main. The current concrete box crumbled apart and the plumber used a sprinkler cover as a replacement. I'm not sure if this is code but it now looks like we have two junction boxes for our sprinkler system."

"Grumpy's Drains was the only company who could get us on their schedule within a week. A half hour before our appointment time, Keith called to let me know he was on his way and then showed up exactly on time. My husband had tried to snake the drains multiple times with no success. Keith was able to clean the clog out of the tub in less than 10 minutes (water balloon and hair clog). He then went to work on the pedestal sink. That was a much more difficult clog while working in a tight space. Keith was cheerful, funny and kind the entire time. The first clog cost a flat $178 and the additional drain was $88. "The crew who came to the house included: Chris, Josh, Christian and Jeff. They were all very professional and they explained very clearly what work needed to be done and where they would need to cut into walls and ceilings. We have a 3 bathroom house with a full finished basement. The crew attempted to make easy cuts for me to repair. The house was as clean as can be expected after two days of work. The job was done completely and thoroughly. We had an issued with the shut off valve and they returned the next day to fix our issue and Josh came out he was professional and friendly. "The provider was courteous and efficient, but I thought the charge was excessive. I could have replaced the toilet tank components myself for a fraction of the the cost, but I lacked the expertise to diagnose the problem. (The tank made intermittent, loud running-water noises when the toilet was not in use.)
His diagnosis of the foul smell near the front porch, however, was way off. Affixing the cap of the sewer vent did NOT to eradicate the odor -- because it was coming from a faulty gas meter 4 feet west of the sewer cleanout! Ultimately, it was the gas company that stifled the odor by repairing the meter -- and at no charge to the customer.

"IIt went well from start to finish with Speedy Septic and we were
very happy with their  services.
We were overdue to have our septic tank pumped but did not know where our
septic tank was located and had not been able to get a map from the county. We
had previously called a different septic tank company our neighbor had used.
They came out and because an inspection port could not be located pulled our
toilette and put down a camera. Then they went outside and located where they
thought our septic tank was and we put up flags. They thought it was over 4
feet down so wanted to call in an excavation crew, which we did not want to do.
I was advised to call them once the septic tank lid was located and they would
pump it out but I would likely need to call someone else to put in the riser
due to their schedule. We decided to have our landscape gardener do some
digging to try and locate the tank but that was not successful.
We decided to go on Angies List and find a different septic tank
company that could do the entire job. Speedy Septic had great reviews so we
called them and I was told they could do the job from start to finish. While I
was on the phone they went out on the internet and located a map for our septic
tank and sent it to me for no charge before I had decided to use their
services. We hired them and they came out within a few days. In less than 15
minutes they had located our septic tank lid about two feet below ground by using
the map, a probe and looking at the slope of our lawn. It was about 25 feet
away from where the previous septic tank company had told us it would be. In
less than an hour they had located and uncovered our septic tank lid and both
drain field inspection ports on our lower lawn with a minimum of digging because
their location skills are excellent. They pumped our tank and were done with
the job in about two hours. They explained everything to me in detail and
answered all my questions. They also explained how our septic tank works and
how to care for it in the future. I was offered the option of having risers
installed and they explained they would need to obtain the parts and have a
team come back to install the risers (which was an additional charge). We had
them come back to install the risers and again they did an excellent job and
also made every effort to accommodate my schedule and answer all my questions.
