"Honest and lengthy review ahead. Only seems fair given the 3-star rating. To start, Mike has absolutely rock bottom communication skills. Poor planning, poor scheduling, and again? Poor communication. I did appreciate his fast response time to the request for service, HOWEVER, he completely flaked on the scheduled date for the initial consultation. Luis did a semi-decent job, albeit overpriced IMHO (not his fault). Installed a 3 piece acrylic wall and tub combination, with new shower border/baseboards. Satisfied with the results and operation of the shower. Would have preferred some consultation about burying half the showerhead escutcheon under the shower border before just moving on with that piece of the project. Looks weird. Tile floor and baseboards were a great improvement, both in material and workmanship from the previous install. However, within less than a week the grout looks like it?s YEARS old. Cracked, pitting, flaking, shrinking, etc. Now I have to find a free weekend to fix and re-grout. The whole point of hiring someone was to SAVE me time. On a positive note, Luis did a great job of cleaning up during and after his demolition/construction; kudos. Although he left his shop vac behind, so maybe he will not be a clean on the next job. Haha. I notified Mike (email and voicemail) of the issues I had with the work, and that Luis had left behind a shop-vac, but never received a response. Again, poor communication, or maybe they are just ashamed and hiding. I guess the price of a used shop vac will have to make up for my lost weekend of replacing tile grout. {{{ho-hum}}}"

"We hired Arce Remodeling through Angi to demo and replace our dropped ceiling in the kitchen. It was an antiquated rectangle in our kitchen with plexiglass panels bent upward with fan in the middle. Arce professionals made numerous suggestions that we agreed to implement. In particular they recommended a herring bone design in the top which came out specular. They also installed four can lights as recommended and they provide plenty of light along with a second option of amber low light feature. Additionally they installed a new ceiling fan. The amber low light of the can lights along with the new ceiling fan is beautiful. Painters then came in the applied two different coats the project. The result was beyond our exceptions. All of the workers were professional, on time and cleaned up after themselves. Jesse the president stayed in contact with us throughout the entire project. All work was done within the quoted price and payment was available through a web portal. We highly recommend them and would definitely use again."
