"Central Roofing is an outstanding company. We had a very positive experience with it from the time we first contacted the company through completion of our job (we are return customers). In early March, a wind storm damaged the siding on our home, peeling off several panels and twisting others. My husband left a message with Central Roofing late on a Saturday after the storm and we received a call back from the owner on Sunday morning. The owner had a salesman contact us later that Sunday and he scheduled an appointment to come out to our home and assess the situation. The salesman was very helpful in working with us to get needed information to our insurance company and was willing to talk with our adjuster. We believe these actions demonstrate Central Roofing's commitment to excellent customer service. We were also extremely pleased with the final results. Central Roofing did a wonderful job removing the old aluminum siding from our house and then re-siding our entire house with new vinyl siding. Central Roofing also wrapped all of our wood trim around the top of our house so that we no longer have to have it painted every couple of years. We also had Central Roofing replace two kitchen windows. The workers were prompt, professional, and very courteous. They also worked long days and weekends to ensure the project was completed within the promised timeframe. When we started having some "nail pops" on the interior of our home from the work being done outside, my husband discussed it with the foreman and the workers modified the way they were installing the new siding to minimize the amount of "nail pops" on the inside of our home. After the work was completed, the salesman came back out to our home to look over the work and ensure we were happy with the final results. Overall, we had no complaints and will continue to use Central Roofing for any future roofing, siding, & window needs. In the past, we had Central Roofing replace a roof, install new gutters, and replace many windows. They are one of the best companies we have ever worked with and we highly recommend them."

"These guys are the best! They seriously care about their customers and really strive to make sure they deliver a great product. They were on time, quick, and clean. My new roof looks fantastic, and we are really glad we went with this local company. Buying a roof is not a "fun" expense, but I really feel like we got our money's worth: a quality new roof in 1 day, and then new trim capping the next day. They even installed new bathroom exhaust vents and HVAC exhausts. Our house looks brand new. You might get a cheaper rate elsewhere, but these guys do not skimp on quality of product, 50-year warranty, or craftsmanship. They even come back to inspect and follow up to make sure we are completely happy with the services provided! Talk about great customer service! The whole experience was so easy. "Hugh Keith and son are truly professional. Hugh Keith III did assessment, printed pictures on the spot, provided an exacting estimate and explained process. Hugh Keith Jr. foremaned the effort, taking the time to call, text and email situational updates. Roof was started on Monday. Upon completion of the back effort, Mr. Keith provided pictures and description of what was to follow. Front roof including slates was completed Tuesday with pictures, phone call, text and email. I was worried about them messing up my front yards or patio furniture. Not a sign of any work being done either day. In fact, they hauled away old satilitte dishes and old slate peallings that was all over the porch roof. Outstanding service. Highly recommended, especially for DC homes. Called others roofers, but Keith and Company's responsiveness and initial customer service sold me. I was not disappointed after enlisting their work. 5 year warrantee, but they told me I probably would not have to worry about the roof again and I believe them. Highly recommended."

"We’ve been very pleased with our experience with window replacements done by Power Home Remodeling. A month ago, we met with a Power salesman who inventoried the windows in our house and gave us an estimate of the cost of replacing all the windows. The cost was considerably more than we were prepared to spend, especially since our existing windows (wood frames, 18-year-old house) seemed to be mostly adequate for now. Initially, we made it very clear that we were not prepared to purchase any sort of replacement windows and were interested only in getting a cost estimate for future planning purposes. As the presentation wore on (and on and on – total of more than 4 hours, though this also included questions on our part and reading and signing documents), we became impressed with the quality of the Power window (durable vinyl frame, no painting, easier to open and clean, better energy efficiency, etc.) and the pricing options that were available if we made a purchase that day. We normally steer clear of such pricing deals, but this one included a lock-in of favorable pricing for at least 5 years. Since we were planning to replace a number of windows in that time frame anyway, that proved to be an important feature of their terms. We signed on for the minimum number of windows they would sell us (4 large double-hung windows for the ground floor front). Within a day or two, Power sent a pre-installation inspector to confirm the salesman’s window measurements and explain the installation process, then scheduled an installation date. The installation was done one week after we signed the agreement. The installers were on time and very efficient in removing the old windows and installing the new ones. The installers did a good job with sealing the windows, and they left the house clean and tidy. During the process, we noticed that there were some scuff marks on the frames of two of the full-window screens (fairly minor and only visible close up). Power insisted on replacing them despite these small defects, and that is scheduled to happen soon. With that small exception, the windows were in perfect shape. A quality control inspector came three days later to verify that the work met their standards. Power did an excellent job of communicating the status of our project and confirming appointments. We’ve seen a number of pretty bad complaints about them on the Better Business Bureau web site and just as many strongly positive ones on the Consumer Affairs site. All we can add is that our experience has been nothing but good and we would recommend them highly to anyone considering window replacement. Keep in mind that you don’t have to make the huge investment of replacing all your windows; Power is happy to do as few as 4 windows without obligating you to do anything else at a later time. We’ve already decided to replace the other 5 windows on the front of our house. When we’re ready to do more, we plan to call Power."

I met with Tom Green and explained what I was interested in and he provided me with a quote for installing a new GAF Timberline UHDZ roof. After getting HOA approval, I coordinated with Exterior Medics on when the work could be started. The group of roofers I had worked very hard and cleaned up after themselves very well. The guttering and fascia repair will be done soon. Emily Rinaldo, the HCR marketing rep., gave a thorough and lengthy (3 hours) presentation on every aspect of the roof. She is personable, professional, and knowledgeable. The well-manned roofing team arrived on the day stated and completed most of the roofing in one day. The roofers had been trained by HCR and were not day-laborers or sub-contractors. They returned early the next morning and completed their work in a couple hours. No unpleasant surprises here! Financing is available."
