"Tony was good mostly. Pros: He was on time every time. This is big for contractors. He was on time for estimates and both times he had to come to place He was the best priced The water heater is installed and working. Cons: His quote was very vague. He told me he would put plywood and install a replacement water heater. And he did. However, the first time he installed was with OSD board...basically looked like junkyard plywood that they put underneath water heater... not good and it was inside my house, maybe if this was in a garage you could get away with it, buy my water heater is in my closet. The first time they came out they installed the wrong water heater, claiming mixup at the warehouse. I can not confirm or validate this, but they did come back the next day with the correct size and also replaced the particle board stuff with real solid plywood that he put a layer of paint on. Once the discovery of the error with the wrong water heater and the bad wood. Communication got very short. He agreed to get replaced then hung up on me. We ended up texting and I offered to pay a bit extra for higher quality material, I just asked that he let me know what that cost would be. He never told me what the new cost would be until the job was completed and I was given the bill. Overall: All in all, he is very well priced, his people were on time and professional, and he did what he said he would do, so he is an honest contractor which is good. My experience was not the best but I would give him a call again however would request a more detailed quote."

They were very professional - arriving on time, keeping us apprised of what they were doing and why (even filming the work), diligently working while being very respectful of our privacy and our property, and leaving everything in pristine condition when they left. "Have already recommended them to a neighbor! Reached out on a Sunday and heard back within an hour, scheduling an appointment for the next day. Prior to my scheduled time, they reached out again, offering me an earlier appointment, which was ideal. The tech (Tyler) called shortly before arriving to confirm when he'd be there. He quickly identified the issue with a pinhole leak in the copper pipe, replaced the corroded section, and explained why it had happened (use of improper/cheap materials by a previous plumbing installer). Tyler also explained another issue that should be repaired in the near future on the hot water heater, which has galvanized pipe connected to copper, which apparently corrodes. He was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and cleaned up thoroughly before departing. In addition, I found the cost of the repair to be very reasonable. Overall, a fantastic experience."

"Hector gave me a quote over the phone on Wednesday and made an appointment for the following day. He and Nathen showed up ready to work at 0830. They installed a new (1/2 hp) Sump Pump and Check Valve. The project took approximately 2.5 hours to complete. The site is now ready for the rain."

"The Friday before Thanksgiving we discovered large puddles in our laundry room and hallway. My dad, ever the handyman, tried to find the leak but grew distraught when he realized the water was coming from inside the walls and not our washing machine. That night, not wanting to chance my dad trying to fix it or worse, a friend of a friend, I became a member of Angie's list and looked for a reputable plumber nearby open on the weekends.
I called Saturday morning and they arrived same day Saturday afternoon (I told them it wasn't a major leak). They looked everywhere for the leak, moved our washer and dryer, opened up the wall, etc. They were able to isolate it to the hot water and advised us to leave the hot water off at night when the water pressure increased. Sunday they charge double, so we opted to continue on Monday. On Moday, first thing in the morning 8AM  they brought in a specialist with the fancy audio leak detection device seen on their website, which was kinda neat. A manager came by and told us there were a few other issues, but it turned out we just needed a new water heater (ours was over 10 years old, installed by my father and not up to code) and a pressure regulator. We were quoted a bit over 5k for everything, which was around how much we thought it was going to be, so that worked out. They came back on Tuesday at 8 AM and worked all day and restored hot water by 6. Thanksgiving was saved~! Hurray~! 
Service was excellent, everything was up to code. They taped down crate paper on the floors of the places they worked in, replaced the drywall, bolted everything into place, moved a bunch of heavy stuff without help--everything looked great when it was done. We're all pretty impressed and would use Richco again in the future.

Turns out two years later that something wasn't done right and we had wastewater accumulating from the kitchen. Marc from Make it Drain came out on short notice on the weekend to look at the job, and he gave me a great estimate, educated me about the issues, talked me through the process, and had a friendly but no-pressure approach. I had several other companies out to make estimates, and one of the estimates was three times what Marc quoted me!! When we arranged the job it was easy, and Marc and his guys showed up on time, did exactly what he said he'd do, kept everything super clean, took pictures to show me what was going on, and continued to keep me looped in so I understood everything.
