Hi my name is Chris Hill I run Hill Exteriors and we are a small local residential construction company mainly focusing on exterior work but we have the skills and knowledge to tackle almost any project you have related to your home. I grew up as one of those kids who loved tools and taking stuff apart and putting it back together and started my career off at Home Depot at the age of 18 where I ended up being promoted and managing the paint department there. I trained under an extremely skilled contractor for about a decade before he retired and he left me with the skills ,knowledge and the accounts to be able to continue the work he had trained me to do at fair prices. I take pride in my work and not try to sell people stuff that they don't need. "The service was done by a nice couple, husband and wife, who came to my house on time, were kind and efficient and stretched the carpet I had in my sunroom. The reason that I give only 2 stars for the value is not the result of their service per se; it's because they came through a middleman. I paid away too much for this service. They should have charged me half of what I paid. In CA, which is a much more expensive place, I paid much less for this service. When you have a middleman or a website that sends the service you end up paying too much. When you come to think of it, a middleman is not even necessary in this case. Handymen or electricians or carpet stretchers/cleaners can have plenty of work without any website (=middleman) who just jumps the prices up. I wanted to give this service only 1 star because this plague of middlemen that runs across the U.S bothers me. However, since this couple really did a good job I gave it more stars."

Palmer was punctual and very professional. I had spilled a large coke cola soda on my white carpet.  I was in panic mode, but with his efficiency and understanding he not only took the spot out but reassured my fears.  He also said that if any part of the spot came back to call them.  After about a week, just a small area ( really barely noticeable ) came back and I called and Fernando was able to come by the next day. The spot is now not only not visible it's like it never happened !  I would highly recommend them for any of your carpet needs as they are beyond the best in the business. After 30 years in my home I have had 4 different companies clean my carpet, but once I found Berguss Carpet cleaning with Palmer and Fernando I will only use them from now on.
