"Called with a problem during extreme cold.  They were out within an hour.  Their assessment was honest and gave options of repair vs. replacement that was without embellishment.  A price was quoted higher than a special that was advertised on Angie.  The Angie's list special was honored and the replacement was scheduled for the next day.  They did the work on-time and as promised.  Each person starting from the young lady on the phone to the techs in the field were all professional in their delivery of service.

"The work originated on April 2, 2013 and was completed the following day.  The quality of the workmanship was extremely poor.  The shower enclosure was not properly installed in that it the lower portion was not glued to the wall.  The shower drain leaked into the basement.  The west wall was not flush with the door frame making it impossible to hang door casing.  The east wall was so badly bowed that the base of the wall at one end was flush with the wall & floor but left a 1" gap between the floor & wall at the opposite end making it impossible to install baseboard.  
 I contacted the Mr. Jent, who had not seen the work done by his employees,  re the problems listed above.  He came back to our house, inspected the bathroom and set a date to return and resolve all the issues.  He was shocked to see the shoddy work and stated he's never had this kind of problem.  Consequently,  he and a different  associate (who was obviously a skilled individual) replaced and recovered the east & west walls at Jent's expense and attached the shower enclosure by going through the wall in the connecting bedroom.  Mr. Jent then repaired that wall so that one cannot detect a hole had been made there.  He fixed the plumbing leak in the shower.   So even though the project started out as a bad experience, we are very pleased with the outcome and would recommend Jent's Handyman Service.  I'm certain that Mr. Jent will  insure this kind of thing will not happen to any other clients.

"I had a big name waterproofing company out several years ago that did work on two walls of my house and continued to have problems with leaking. They did come back a few times and tried to repair but never could get it sealed properly. After paying a annual fee to keep a warranty for a problem they couldn't repair I decided to get a few contractors out and look to get another opionon. Buckeye Waterproofing was by far the most experienced of them and explained everything that was going on so I and my son-in-law could understand and make sense. They told me what was needed to be done to repair what previous company did and what would be needed for the rest of the house. After sitting with Rick from Buckeye I had decided to have them do the work because he made me feel so comfortable with the work he would be doing and gave me the best price of the quotes we had. Everyone else wanted to do start from scratch and do previous work I had done over while Rick explained he could repair the work and save me some money since I had already paid for work years ago. The crew Rick sent was prompt,clean and very respectful of my house and I was extremely satisfied with work they did. It has now been 2 months since the work was done and everything has been dry with no issues at all on the new work that was done or the repairs to the old work that the other waterproofing company did and couldn't figure out how to repair. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and have already sent them a friend to have work done as well.
