It turned out to be roots in my line (a much bigger problem than I was expecting). He provided a competitive estimate of the cost to fix this bigger problem. (I got some other estimates over the phone.) And he was able to come with a crew the next day to replace the damaged portion of the line. My sewer line was almost completely blocked by roots! Long story short, he and his team cleared up all the blockages, replaced the bad sections of pipe, and he gave me a 3 year damage warranty on the work. He showed me what was happening as he was working on it too, which I really appreciated.
