"My 1940's Sunset District house had never had the lighting updated; additionally, the lighting in the garage was obviously done by a prior homeowner and the lighting was inadequate, inefficient, and of dubious compliance with codes. Additionally, cable company installed its cable for television and internet access by drilling holes in the hardwood floors. Ertan came by to look at the project and I was impressed by his knowledge, professionalism, and warm courtesy. His estimate was a little higher than others, but I was confident that his focus was on doing the job correctly and to my satisfaction, not on completing the job in a hurry. He sent me his estimate by email, and was able to begin the job within the next week. His work was outstanding. In order to create the new electrical outlets in the kitchen, bath, and bedrooms he had to cut the kitchen and bath tiles, and cut holes in the walls in order to run the wiring. His work was amazing; not a single kitchen or bath tile was cracked or broken, and the holes in the walls were patched to perfection. At the end of each work day Ertan and his assistant would clean, vacuum, and sweep their work area and leave the house clean. The garage lighting was a challenge and Ertan developed an excellent solution to move the switch to a more accessible location and to fully illuminate the three main areas of the garage. He also discovered that some of the prior wiring done by a homeowner, was unsafe (hot wires), and he removed that work at no charge. Ertan took care of the securing all permits, and advised me of the date and time of the inspection. The inspector approved the electrical work on his first visit. The last day Ertan was here he worked in the garage, and I did not check it out until after he left. Imagine my surprise to see that he had swept the garage, tidied up some items I had on the floor, and neatly stacked other things I had downstairs. Needless to say, I am more than pleased with his work."
