Recently, we needed to undertake a whole-house re-piping project for our home. Our original copper pipes had deteriorated over the years to the point where we experienced ~7 pinhole leaks either in walls, ceilings or open spaces scattered throughout the house. We finally bit the bullet, did extensive online research, and started contacts with plumbers. We had initial conversations with up to 8 firms and in-home interviews with 4, followed up by various telephone clarifications as we got smarter (more informed) during the process. We learned quickly that a major differentiator between firms was their preferred choice of materials for piping, fittings, crimps and fasteners. Our Plumbing team of Jackie and Barry were outstanding. They always called prior to arrival. They set expectations with us daily. We always had full water service restored at night and most of the days too. They first spent time investigating the existing plumbing system, cutting inspection holes as needed and developing a strategy/plan for the new pipes, with the goal of minimizing the number of holes in the house. They also dealt with challenges as they occurred, including a tricky tile cut through the grout in the master shower while preserving the tiles that were removed. They cleaned up daily and were respectful of our home. We developed a nice rapport and appreciated their work. On the restoration side, JC was equally outstanding, as this is where you hold your breath and hope it all comes back together – and it certainly did. JC was masterful at the drywall/tape/mud restoration, but also dealing with the other items disturbed by the project such as tiles, beadboard, vents, tub panel, etc. He is a true craftsman with attention to detail and quality and does most of his work by hand. He, also, avoided dust and mess as much as possible and cleaned up daily too. It probably helped that we were able to provide all the original paints [~10] except for one, but he was a master at blending in the paint of the restored surfaces with the unaffected portions, truly, “like it never happened”. We would recommend Atlantis Plumbing to anyone facing a similar major project. We will call on Atlantis as needed for any future plumbing problems."

"I noticed that the air conditioning system was blowing warm air instead of cool air over the Memorial Day weekend.  I checked the thermostat and everything was working there.  I went outside and checked the condenser and noticed that the blades were turning but that there was cool air coming from the top of it (I'm used to the air being warmer above the condenser unit).  So I figured I'd better get someone to look at it.  Since I'm new to GA, I asked my neighbor for a recommendation.
I looked up Moncrief's website and left a service request on Monday afternoon and figured they'd call me when they got into the office on Tuesday. Needless to say, I was very surprised that they called me on a holiday to set up an appointment to take a look at the air conditioner.  They sent a technician out on Tuesday morning to look at it, had the engineer come out Wednesday morning before I went into work to determine what sized replacement unit I needed, and this morning (Thursday) the technician was here and installed the new condenser and coil.  And my house is now cool again.
The engineer also recommended that with the higher efficiency systems that they're recommend one more return vent on the main floor.  His explanation made sense and in now way did I feel that he was trying to sell me additional services or increase the bill. Adding the return vent this morning cost an extra $200 (if they'd to make a separate trip later it would cost $400-$500).

"The first They replaced a kitchen sink faucet. They did an excellent job and were very inexpensive. They did it on a Friday night for me which was very convenient. I used them again after that service and spoke to Carl about a waste water drain line issue i was having. He came out and looked at the job and gave me a quote. They came a week later and found that some building debris was the issue for over 21 years. They had to remove some drywall from my ceiling to fix the issue. They limited the amount of ceiling that was removed from using a camera in the pipe. Once they were done, they came and fixed the ceiling and in the end the final price was lower than what they quoted me. needless to say, they are a fantastic company."
