"We contacted Baun Chimney after the inspection report for the home we purchased to have him clean and personally inspect the chimney to give us a second opinion.  Michael arrived on time and executed the cleaning of the chimney, he lit the gas fireplace and confirmed its functionality and was very honest with us that the chimney had been converted from wood to gas and being that if we left it gas, the chimney would not need future cleanings.  So I appreciated the honesty of Michael. <br /> He climbed on the roof and did confirm the inspection report and took pictures of the issues and explained that he could return in the next week and execute on the masonry work and he would recommend that we cap the chimney with a waterproofing sealant that would protect the chimney for a minimum of ten years.  We agreed to move forward and Michael returned the next week and performed the work as estimated and the cap looks great. <br /> I would always recommend Michael and his company due to the great ownership and pride he takes in his work and name in the business. <br />"

"Everything went great. He called because he was available early and wanted to know if it would be ok to come earlier then planned. When he arrived, he introduced himself and verified the scope of work requested. He went straight to work. When complete he explained everything he did, showed pictures of things that would need work, and answered all of my questions. It was only $150 for the inspection and cleaning and I received my receipt with the pictures he had taken within minutes. He was quick, clean and very professional. "Tammy returned my messages quickly, we got an estimate within a week, and scheduled the job for a few weeks later (as soon as weather allowed). She and her crew did a great job, working quickly and with high quality. Our tearoff and replacement was complete in about a day and a half, and at that time the owner and I did a walkaround while she explained features of the new install. They have earned our trust with repair and Preventative Maintenance work in the past, so much so that they were the only company we called for an estimate when we decided to re-roof."

"Excellent. John called saying he was on his way and arrived as scheduled. He wore shoe covers in the house and spread a large cloth in front of the fire place. He inspected and cleaned both the fire box and chimney and cleaned the gas logs. John made sure no soot or mess got on the floor. I was impressed with his cleanliness. Very professional and it was obvious that he is an expert at his job."

"The owner, Robert Helm came out and talked with me about what he was going to do. About meshing (blending) in the addition to the original house and taking down the chimney and closing the hole that it would leave and about the leak we had where the garage and the original house come together (that was supposed to be fixed when we had the roof re-done in Dec. 2003). Then Mr. Helm and his crew came out and did all the work on June 9, 2016. Mr. Helm helped take down the old chimney and nothing came crashing down on the new addition or on the ground. The crew worked all day. Mr. Helm left to get rid of the old chimney parts and shingles from the the area of the original house that were removed to mesh the new addition into. Mr. Helm came back when the job was finished and climbed up the roof and checked all the work. He told me about the California valleys that were done on the addition to the original house and he told me about the repair to the roof area where the chimney was and he also checked over the repair to the roof where the leak had been . He told me that his worker said that there were several items missing that they would have put on that area of the roof that leaked after the re-roofing in Dec. 2003. Mr. Helm said to let him know if the roof leaks or the repair leaks anytime. We just had a big rainstorm (today is June 14, 2016) and my rain gauge shows over an inch of rain and at times it was coming down very hard AND I have NO LEAKS , not in the addition, not where the chimney was AND NOT WHERE THE LEAK HAS BEEN. Added note: The company that did our roof in Dec. 2003 had come out at least 2 times to fix the leak where the garage and the house meet AFTER they re-roofed the entire house with no success. It would take many calls before we could get a call back. We honestly got tired of contacting them and gave up . That part is our fault. I want to thank Robert Helm and his crew from R&R Roofing!!! We will sing their praises to all who ask about a roofer!!! Mr Helm and his entire crew were very polite, careful of our property and hard workers!"
