"They were great. No hesitation in using them again or recommending them to anyone. Late Thursday night our guest bathroom toilet would not flush and of course we were expecting my husbands parents and grandparents in less than 24 hours for a weekend visit.....Early on Friday morning I called and the woman who took my call my was very professional and sympathetic. She got me in for an appointment between 2-5 and promised to move me up if any openings occurred for earlier. An hour or two later our only other bathroom starting to back up and our kitchen sink stopped draining. I called back in a complete panic as my guests were only a couple of hours away. They got someone to our house within 45 minutes and the guy, Ben, was amazing. He had the blockage removed and we were back in business in less than an hour. plus he gave us a tip on how to get rid of the scratch marks in our toilet that we created while trying to snake it ourselves when we thought it was just the toilet. The tip worked and the toilet looks brand new. He, also, gave us (new first time home owners) some great plumbing tips if we ever have another back up....you can take off the top of the outside drain access and the water will go into the yard instead of your house! It did take a couple of days longer than estimated, but the guys worked over the weekend to try to make it up, so I won't ding them too hard over this. Whether you go with Flaker or another, hardwood refinishing is highly disruptive of home life, so be prepared for this ahead of time."

"Never had a problem. Their process is the easiest. You just call AHS with your problem, they get one of their screened providers to call you and set an appointment, the guy comes to either fix the problem on the spot (cost to you, $75 fixed), OR he comes, inspects, and gives a quote that may include things not covered by your contract (cost to you, $75 fixed). Then you either ok any additional costs and he fixes, or you ok if it's no additional costs and he fixes. If you don't like quote, call AHS and get a 2nd quote from another screened provider for no additional cost. What could be easier?"

" I used their services twice before, however, this was the most involved job todate.  Josh was on time and did a great job installing the plumbing to our kitchen sink follow replacement of our counter tops and sink.  Since the sinks were a different depth, he had to reconfigure the entire drain system for the double sink.  His experience, creativity, and expertise was readily apparent.  We had prior drainage problems from our disposal which he also fixed in the process.  We have had no leaks and everything works perfectly to include the disposal which has never worked better.  (Add to think were seriously considering having a new one installed.)  
The countertop installers also caused a major leak under our dishwasher which he fixed..  He also checked a toilet that had been leaking and replaced a tank flapper (the thing that plugs the line to the toilet bowl so the tank will fill).  He then checked our propane fire places as we had not been able to get them to work since moving into the house 3 years prior.  He did all of this at no extra charge. 
He also offers military discounts (I am retired from the Army), however, I did not request it as I felt he wasn't charging me enough for all the work he did over a four hour period.
