"We completely gutted and renovated our entire house, using several different companies. We were content with the final product, but wanted to add a large fan to the main living room several months after the house was completed. We hired Rounds Construction for the job and of everyone we worked with, they were one of the most professional companies. They arrived at our house exactly when they said they would come. Moved all of our furniture out of the way very carefully. They never complained about crawling 50 feet through our tight attic space to the other side of the house to install the electrical in a very difficult spot. The fan installation is flawless and the price was very reasonable. They left the place cleaner than when they arrived by doing touch up paint on the ceiling and by the light switches, vacuumed, and patiently moved our furniture several times to exactly where we wanted it. I would definitely hire Rounds Construction again and again!"

"Absolutely amazing! I had a water leak which my landlord neglected for several months. I called Josh at ASAP Restoration and he went above and beyond anything I could have expected. He called my landlord to help rectify the situation, got testing done incredibly fast, sent emails so I was educated on what I was dealing with, sent texts to make sure I knew each step of what was happening. Do yourself a favor and call them, I'm so incredibly grateful for not only the service but the care they showed."

"Cory and his design engineer came to our house at the appointed time dressed professionally and ready to go to work. We told them what we wanted done for a kitchen remodel as well as a bathroom remodel. They listened intently, offering suggestions where appropriate which were appreciated. Two days later Cory sent us the designs and pricing for both rooms via email, breaking out the pricing for each phase of the remodel. The schematics were professional and easy to read."

"Wall went up quickly, is solid and sturdy and looks great! The custom built gates are heavy duty and easy to open/close and lock. Waed kept me informed throughout the entire process and his crew left the yard clean of debris."

"Prompt and fair on price. Cameron is a nice guy. I did have to do some touch ups myself after he left and he seemed in a rush. Good overall, just wish he would’ve taken a bit more time to get all the little things done right. That said, I’m a perfectionist and this would probably have been a 5 star job for anyone else."

"Brian and Brandon did such an amazing job. I am so happy in my kitchen. <br /> Brian cleaned everything up and vacuumed inside and outside the house. <br /> The price was unbelievable too. I kept putting off remodeling of the <br /> kitchen because I was being quoted a price three times higher than what <br /> m3remodeling charged. The price was unbelievable especially when I saw <br /> the quality of his work. Brian even did extra things like making a shelf <br /> from scratch. Brian was easy to work and very honest. For example, <br /> Brian and his son worked so hard to save my granite. The two of them <br /> lifted a slab that must have been 400 lb and treated it with care. The <br /> effort that they put into my kitchen made it look like it was their <br /> house that they are working on. I feel so lucky that I found them and <br /> refer them to all my family and friends. Thank you!"

"Where to start?  We called a few different construction companies to get a bid to do the work of essentially building an 'L' shape around the East and South side of our existing home.  The new addition would be a garage, master bedroom behind that, and extending the kitchen out into an open floor plan.  Joe and his wife Bev were the only ones that seemed serious about the work and what we needed to do to even get a bid.  He recommended a drawing guy, and then he made a bid off of that.  It wasn't the cheapest one we got, but they were the most detailed and frankly, the ones we felt most comfortable with.  The work started around Dec 2015 and ended around April.  There are many things to detail, so I won't get into all of them, but Joe went out of his way to make sure we had heat, water, and electric during this remodel.  Not an easy thing to do considering all of that was essentially located in the spot we had just demolished.  During the many months, Joe was always there to answer our questions and concerns.  Bev is such a joy and she helped us novices pick out what would look best in our new spaces.  It was a long process, but I can't recommend them enough.  <br>"

FAQs for basement remodeling projects in Eloy, AZ

Finishing a basement turns unused square footage into livable space and returns up to 70% of what you spend when you sell your home. Beyond that resale boost, you gain a playroom, home office, or guest suite you can start enjoying right away. That mix of daily comfort and solid return on investment (ROI) makes basement finishing one of the smartest upgrades you can tackle.

In some parts of the country—especially lots on swamps, high water tables, or other wetlands—local codes prohibit basements. Saturated soil puts constant pressure on foundation walls and lets water seep in faster than any sump pump can handle.

If your property sits on waterlogged ground, building on a slab or crawl space is often safer, more affordable, and code-compliant.

Most basements wrap up in four to eight weeks. Framing takes three to five days, with electrical and plumbing rough-ins following over the next week. Add five days for drywall, two to three for flooring, and another week for paint, trim, and punch-list items.

Delays can happen if materials run late or your contractor’s calendar is packed, so build in a little cushion when you plan.

Whether a finished basement counts toward your home’s official square footage depends on local rules. Many areas only include below-grade space if it has code-approved egress, fully finished walls, ceilings, and floors, plus consistent heating.

Check with your local assessor or building department before you start; meeting those standards can affect taxes, appraisals, and resale value.

Building codes require a checklist: dedicated heat and electrical service, a code-approved stairway, and at least one egress window or exterior door. Walls, ceilings, and floors must be fully finished and meet insulation, ventilation, and fire-separation standards. If you add a bedroom, you’ll also need a closet, proper clearances, and safe exits. If you change the layout later, be ready to update the space so every new room still meets today’s code.
