From my initial call (thanks for the help, Gabrielle!) to the conclusion of the repair, everything was excellent. The service person Julio was on time, polite, assessed and explained the problem to me, and presented repair options. My opener had a bad circuit board, so options were to replace the board or install a new opener. Julio priced a new opener and, after determining a new circuit board was available for my 20+ year old opener, priced that as well. After I chose a new circuit board, he explained that one of my openers would not work with the new board (fine with me). Then he installed the new board in 30 minutes or less. In addition to solving the circuit board problem, Julio answered a couple of questions I had about my current opener and also tightened and lubricated all the garage door hinges and the door tracks. (Neither of these tasks were related to the service issue but he did them anyway, unasked.) I initially called GGD because of their excellent reputation. Based on my experience, that reputation is entirely deserved."

"Lorenzo came out at the appointed time to look over our property and sent his estimate two days later. He patiently worked with us as we revised what we wanted until we were satisfied that it would meet our needs. We decided on board-on-board back yard fences, solid front fences (all fences of pressure-treated pine), and cedar gates, to reduce the weight of our two wide double gates. His price was competitive. The actual installation was delayed by February weather, but Lorenzo kept us informed as the dates changed. Sergio led the fence crew. He was careful to ask about anything he wasn’t sure of and made certain all the work was done to high standards. Everything looks great, the cedar gates are easy to open and close, and the crew cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. The entire installation took only a day and a half. Our neighbors were impressed. And now our dog can run around a securely fenced yard."

However, it's been just over a year and the door does not fit because the bigger heavier posts that they said would support the weight of the door twisted and many other posts have twisted and separated. Slats of the fence are starting to separate as well. So all in all, the install was great but the guarantee of their work is unacceptable."

"Talked to six fencing people in the end but glad I landed on Lions. Was first going with well-reviewed company closer, and then when they were hard to reach and get on site I went with a "cedar expert" in fencing. A lot of quotes later was getting frustrated. Lions didn't try to push me to different wood or plank sizes based on their inventory (two others did) but gave me their best estimate based on what I wanted. I didn't have the responsiveness issues others had; Richard didn't always answer right away but got back to me the same day and was on time for his appointments. A cold snap (weather) delayed the actual installation by a day - they were late in wrapping the previous job, but since I wasn't in a hurry it was no problem. Lions could have let me know the day before (my only complaint) I took off work. However, once on site, he'd added a +1 to his team to ensure the work got done on schedule, and his foreman (Walter) made sure the work was done right. Walter actually came back the next day on his own to power was the trellis which he thought was dirty but I wouldn't have seen. I would definitely hire again and recommend. The price is for STK cedar (not clear) and other preferences of mine also affected the price per linear foot, but you can trust Richard to give you a good deal. I would ensure at time of estimate to confirm how deep the post holes go and ask for more proactive notice in the event of delay, but otherwise the price and quality are superb."

I poured about 50 gallons of water down the driveway and was very pleased with the improved grading of the driveway and the functionality of the catch basin.
