"The project went as planned. The crew arrived Monday, removed the old fence and dug holes for the new fence posts. Tuesday, they set the new posts in concrete. Wednesday, attached the cross members, and Thursday completed the fence. Friday morning finished hanging the very heavy gate and completing the job. <br /> A couple of additional comments: <br /> Blacksmith Fence rebuilt our cedar pool equipment enclosure that was destroyed in a storm for no charge after originally quoting a price in the initial quote. Additionally, they unexpectedly repainted not only the replaced driveway gate post, but the entire gate and existing post on the other side of the driveway at no charge. <br /> Generally, the workers arrived after we left for work in the morning and were gone by the time we returned home in the evening. I considered that a plus as we enjoy our evenings outside. <br /> I originally contacted Blacksmith Fence in April 2012 for a quote. I delayed scheduleing the job until September 2012. During this time, Ty stayed in contact and was prepared to start the job at my convenience. <br /> Very happy with the quality and professionalism. We chose this contractor solely based on the Angie's list reviews. We would use them again. <br /> <br /> Update 10/28/2012: If you want a privacy fence, make sure you specify no gaps between slats. After my initial favorable review of my fence, I realized the slats were places 1/4 to 3/8 apart. Not ideal when you want a privacy fence. I realize there are variances in the wood slats, but most of our slats were installed with a very large gap. When dealing with this vendor, make sure the slats are installed tight in the upfront negotiations. This is not something you can fix after the work is done. <br /> <br />"

I have the horizontal style with the sliding gate. And she came back after installation to program my car openers. I will do business with her and Texas Best Fence again."

"We self-installed an invisible fence system on our 3 acre property back in 2000. We have been very satisfied with this system with only minor problems that we were able to fix ourselves. But when you have no idea where the break is: I would definitely recommend calling Invisible Fence Brand of Greater Dallas. They came out within one day, had equipment to locate the break, and easily fixed it. The technician was knowledgeable and personable. I felt the price was reasonable. It's getting to be an old system - I will definitely be calling them for future problems. My dog in back outside happily running around my 3 acres and staying inside the invisible fence"

"The installer dug and placed the wiring under the ground to the layout we wanted.  The installer was great with our 4 dogs.  He was very patient with them.  He walked the whole perimeter of the enclosed area with each one.  I am glad that i didn't have to introduce my dogs to the fence.  The collar corrects the dog if it crosses the fence line. <br /> The cost of the fence is not that expensive.  It's the cost of each collar that is a little on the pricey side.  Still worth the peace of mind. <br />"

"Down Home just Installed a cedar board-on-board fence. Their service and professionalism were exceptional. Sam (one of the owners) answered all questions and worked through each detail of what we wanted. Their two installers -- BJ and Grisham -- were extraordinary craftsmen, building the fence picket by picket with care and attention to detail. They were extremely polite and astonishingly quick -- the work was done in one day. They also hauled away the old fence and left the yard perfectly clean. The price was not the cheapest bid we received, but the value of what we got was worth every penny, and this fence and its workmanship will long outlast the other fences I have seen around (I have quite an eye for them now!) I highly recommend this well-established and friendly Irving, TX business."

"Lindsey was professional, knowledgable and had great suggestions for our particular pool/patio area. She has small children herself and really has good insight in terms of safety and practicality. The install was arranged within a week. The installer was very efficient and professional: arrived on time, was done within the expected time (3.5 hrs) even after we asked for a change to the original project, and left the worksite without a mess for us to clean up. He even installed a handy door latch on the home's back door for additional safety. We now have an inviting patio area which is safely cordoned off from the pool, as well as an extra area on our detached garage driveway where our 2 year old can ride her trike safely--just put up that section of fence anytime we want. The pool fence actually looks attractive and makes our yard seem bigger. Before Pool Guard put in the fence, we couldn't even let our 18M old go in the back yard unless we were carrying her--she would just run right to the pool! We're so grateful to Pool Guard!"

"Everything went well. I met with the owner of the company. He brought samples of the various grades of vinyl fencing from which to choose. He was very professional. I had several quotes and all were very close to each other. He was most detailed with the process and what to expect. They kept me posted on the timing of everything. The crew was clean, professional, and extremely efficient. Overall, this was a great experience and I would definitely recommend Future Outdoors, LLC again!"

"First off the quality of work was outstanding and I felt the price was fair for the work.  The problem that I have is that in October 2014 a wind storm blew down part of my fence.  Esterday was recommended by the Mason that repaired the mason work that was also damaged.  The Mason had subcontracted that out for me and had to keep calling to get them to come and just replace the downed fence.  I then decided to replace the rest of the fence, so that it would match and put in an automated gate.  Bob the owner came to my house, who is a very nice man by the way, gave me an estimate.  Said that he had to finish up some other jobs on new constructions, this was before Christmas.  It was Feburary and I contacted them then they decided they would get the work done.  Bob told me that someone from his office would call and let me know when they were coming and that never happened.  I would never know when they were coming until they just showed up and started working. They did all of the work in phases and this happened every phase, Bob would say we'll call you to let you know when we will come back but never got a call or email, which they had.  <br /> Again, let me reinterate that the quality of the work is excellent, no pre-fab, all hand cut, this was a privacy fence.  The gate is ornamental, very pretty.  Bob is a very nice man easy to talk to and deal with.  Pretty sure the problem that I had is with his office staff or whom ever was supposed to keep me apprised of the work.  Also, I think the companies bread and butter is new construction and working with new subdivision development, so the individual job is just fluff and not as important as getting work done for these big construction companies. <br /> <br />"

"Let me start off by saying that I was amazed by this company. I had a few local companies come out and give me a quote to replace my fence but none of the other companies seemed to grasp what I wanted. They all wanted to fit me in to a cookie cutter model of what they could do. Then J&J Fencing Pros came out and I was floored by their knowledge, customer service and honesty.
