"Doug did a fine job replacing my bulkhead to my basement. The quality of work was very good. I would certainly hire him for other projects that might come up. The only thing I didn't know about until he had begun the work was that I would have to dispose of the old bulkhead (metal doors & frame, etc.). It was not a big deal as the next day was my dump day and I didn't have to pay for the disposal, however, it would have been nice to know that I would be responsible for that. Otherwise, everything else fine and I'm very satisfied with my new doors and the quality of the installation."

I had no problem with that but tried to get some rough estimate on how much a straightforward replacement of faucet would cost - but no estimate. When the plumber arrived, he first tried to get me to join some membership in order to get some percentage reduction in the cost (but I still had no idea of that cost). Bottom line was that the cost was over $600 for one hour of work. I will add that the plumber did an excellent job so I have no issues with their work. It is more about how they charge for their work. Next time, I will either find someone that is willing to charge by the hour or is willing to provide free estimates."
