Tech also presented mouse and pest prevention options which were reasonably priced, so we did those as well. Very conscientious service. Much better value than we have received from other pest control services in the past. Highly recommend!"

I decided to go with this company because of their practice, which are pet friendly. "We had some ants crawling on our walls, so we put some traps down and figured that would take care of it. A few days later, it was out of control with ants crawling around in my kitchen cabinets. I freaked out and started calling people from Angie's list at 8:30 pm on a Sunday. Wayne answered and talked to me for a while. He showed up the next morning and even called his son in to help pry an old, ornery air conditioner out of the wall so he could spray really well. He was fast, efficient and really nice. "Critter Control gave me a quote over the phone to catch and remove two racoons who had taken up residence in a house next door left abandoned after Sandy. The tech came the next day and was very knowledgeble about the tracks and places the racoons were frequenting. He placed a trap and the next day one of the bandits was in the cage. He came and took the cage and critter with him, but told me they were very busy and needed the cage elsewhere and he would bring it back. Well, he forgot to do so, BUT the other Racoon must have gotten upset without a mate so he vamoosed. I called Critter Control after a week and explained that they hadn't quite finished the job. The phone contact was very nice, apologized for the confusion and gave me a refund for the second racoon. Not perfect, but the result was still fine."

"<p>We were having major problems with ants in our house this winter!  It was focused in the kitchen/dining room area, however they were seen in other areas on the first floor and in the basement. </p> <p>I called numerous Pest Control company's to ask why ants were in our house in the winter, and what could be done about it. Of the approximately 5 company's that I called, Plunkett's was the only one that seemed even remotely interested in doing the work. They explained that they could send someone out to spray, which would take care of the ant problem temporarily. However, they suggested that we have them come again in the spring to spray the perimeter of the house, and do a full inspection of the problem. I made the arrangements for the temporary spraying to get rid of the ants in the house.</p> <p>Bernie showed up on time, and looking and acting like a professional. He explained what was going on thoroughly and answered all of our questions. He advised us that the spray he was applying would be taken back to the nest by the ants and eventually they would be eliminated. He also answered all our questions regarding toxicity to humans, etc...</p> <p>He also advised a return appointment in the spring for a thorough inspection of the extent of the problem and spraying on the outside perimeter of the home.</p> <p>I called and made that appointment today, and specifically requested Bernie return as our Pest Control Professional.</p> <p>All in all, we are very satisfied with the service, price and professionalism of Plunketts (Brainerd, MN).</p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"Everything went as expected.  But paying two sources angles list and Rose Pest Control for additional size of the house seemed awkward.  I would rather just pay Angie's List or just pay Rose Pest Control. <br />"

"Critter Control was the only company that would put up a one-way cage over the squirrel tunnel so the squirrels could get out but could not get back in. I contacted several companies and Critter Control was the only one who would use the one-way as their first option and didn't want to charge me per squirrel captured. Cody had to come back a second time to cover a new whole the squirrels had chewed through. Both entry points were sealed professionally - you have to look really hard to see where the seals are. The only issue we had was connecting with Cody to make our final payment when the work was done. He's a busy guy."
