I’m fairly certain the raccoon knew her time was up because all noises and scratching stopped the day after the trap was set. Jake still came out for 2 weeks and checked the trap. After 2 weeks of checking the trap and monitoring the entry point and seeing nothing, Jake came and covered up the entry point for us.
