"I must admit, I had Unicorp replace all of the windows in our home with new vinyl energy efficient windows 10 or more years ago. Their installers were excellent. The quality of their windows were excellent. The proof in the pudding is that after 8 years not one of my windows has an air leak. Not one has leaked water. Not one window has had the vinyl or track break. In short, nothing has happened. Now that's a quality window! We also purchased a custom sliding glass door (in the kitchen to the deck) from Unicorp that to this day I believe is the best door in my entire home. That door is opened and closed constantly to let the cats in and out. If you own cats, you will understand how often that door is opened and closed on a daily basis. We have not had a single hiccup ever with that door. And in the winter, I sit right behind the door and no matter how cold or windy it is, I never feel a thing at the kitchen table. Because Unicorp did such a great job in replacing the windows in our home, my wife insisted that we use Unicorp to replace the roof last week. Lincoln’s business model reminds me of the thorough planning and careful performance of Cenvar Roofing. The professionalism of their work was only exceeded by its skillful craftsmanship. The foreman/estimator first met at length with me to understand what outcome was expected. I assumed “install some new gutters and downspouts” was a good enough answer, but soon appreciated various options and choices: material, installation, warranty, scheduling, and financing were explained. Upon timely completion, the final project exceeded my expectations, in function and appearance; the total cost was less than my own estimate. "First, they did do a great job on the roof and they did everything the way I asked for it to be done. This is a barn style shed roof that failed in the bend on the roof. I asked for the lower roof to be shingled as a section. Then a drip edge to be installed. Then because of the low pitch on the top section I wanted ICE DAM underlayment installed. Then shingle the upper section to the peak. This eliminates the failure point at the bend in the roof. Everything was done the way I asked for it to be done. They even made a special trip to get the specific shingles that match the house even though a different shingle was quoted. The two things I had issues with that do bear watching. At the end of the day they started putting the ridge cap on without a ridge vent. I stopped them and asked about the ridge vent. Turns out they did not have any with them. I told them, you ripped off a ridge vent, I want it replaced. They went out and picked up the ridge vent and installed it. If I had not been there to say something, they would not have installed the ridge vent. They did not sweep with a magnet for nails and staples at the end of the day. I picked up a couple of handfuls of nails and staples. I fairness to Peak Roofing, Damien the owner called after the roof was complete and asked how things went. When I said something about not sweeping with a magnet for nails and staples, he said he would send them back the next day. I told hime it was not necessary. Once again, overall they did a great job and I would hire them again."

"Quality work at reasonable prices are appreciated whenever a homeowner needs a repair or replacement. This is true whether it requires a plumber, electrician, and especially a roofing company because when a roof is compromised, the home is compromised. We have relied on Shumaker Roofing Company since 2008 when they replaced our roof with Certain Teed Hatteras shingles, a vast improvement over the original shingles. As with any large project, some areas needed to be revisited and addressed. Follow up is an important measure of a company, and the Shumaker team quickly returned resolving our concerns. Our concern became their concern, and it showed by their dedication and assurance that the project would be completed to our satisfaction, which it was. Recently our electrical meter separated from the exterior wall due to a construction contractor neglecting to place sealant around the meter. This allowed water to enter behind the unit and eventually compromised the anchor bolts. Bob Schisler, President of Shumaker, came by and personally repaired the flaw (of course an electrician is required to reattach the meter). We felt relieved when Bob arrived, because we knew our problem was in the best of hands. And we really feel the same way with any of the Shumaker team. Needless to say, we highly recommend Shumaker Roofing for their integrity, dependability, quality work, and at a price which we felt was always reasonable."
