"I live in Apollo Beach and had a sprinkler pump that had stopped working. I called the people that installed the pump. It was about 5 years old. They told me that I needed a new pump and that the pump I had was not the correct one (even though their company installed it).That a new 40' line from the well to the pump was needed. They quoted me $3500. I knew better. I called Bay Area Pump and Well Service right here in Apollo Beach. Wesley Carter and his son came out right on time. They diagnosed the problem as a bad check valve at the well connection and replaced it. They also cleaned out my jet pump and redid the input plumbing into the pump. Installed a ball valve. He explained to me why and how the pump malfunctioned and what he did. They were respectful, courteous and professional. Their charge for parts and service was $200 that included a service charge. They saved me a lot of money. They will be recommended to my family and friends if they need this service.They are honest and reliable."

"Woke up to no running water, I called Mike at Hillsborough Pump and Well at 7:30 am, he was there by 9:30. After checking the system and explaining what he found, he gave me the bad news, both my pump and tank needed to be replaced. I paid my $95 check out fee, (which he later applied to the repair) and told him I was going to get some other quotes. He was very helpful and provided me a written quote with specifics on the type of equipment he recommended. After making several calls and researching a bit online, I found his price to be competitive, but not the lowest, most importantly he was able to start right away. Mike came back the same day around 12:30 and started the job. Everything went fine, the job was done much faster than I had expected, then Mike ran into a problem. We were getting water to the house but not in the house. After spending a bunch of extra time he discovered a piece of the old pump had clogged one of the pipes inside the house. He did not charge me any extra for the additional labor or materials needed to correct the issue. I appreciated the extra effort and his professionalism. <br />"

In no time at all Danny found the problem to be just two burnt wires. A CRC Control Box was installed to help lower the current draw of the old pump to help give some extra life. An unscrupulous person or company could of easily convinced me that my pump was history and sold me thousands of dollars of work. "They answered my call right away and set up an appointment for the next day. Unfortunately they came out with a 1 hp pump instead of 1.5 hp pump. I told the person who sets up the appointments that the pump was so old couldn't tell what size pump I had. They only brought out the smaller pump. So they had to come back the next day. Not a huge deal. Job itself was done very well and would have them back to do other work."

"Thought low water pressure was my pump, but was the irrigation system, nearly 30 years old. Green's prepared to fix the leaks etc. Given the age I asked for an estimate to replace. Mr. Green calculated that on the spot, it was the best, so I said replace the system. Not only were they quick, professional and clearly very competent, they suggested covers for the in-ground system that make it look neat as well as keep the dirt out. So impressed, I asked them to check the sprinkler controller system, also old. It's a commercial one serving over 30 sprinklers. That was replaced, programmed, and explained. After nearly3 hours hard work, they left everything very neat and tidy. I plan to have them do my annual sprinkler check. Cannot praise them enough."
