"If I could give 10 stars, I would! This was an amazing, positive experience! It began with an oak tree â 50 years old and dying â with huge branches extending over the front of the house. Seemed kind of an issue since we were installing a roof. We contacted the tree service to get that project started, and then took bids from three roofing companies. Two were headquartered in California (weâ re in Houston, Texas) and only one even had offices here. One estimate was based on the Google map picture of the house â even though the tree canopy only permits visibility of about 1/3 of the roof. The other sent a rep who was thorough and knowledgeable, but also in a hurry to get the work started, insisting that the tree work could be done after the roof. He did have some slick brochures with great photos (of California-style homes) but virtually no information about the roofing process. Thinking back, â slickâ describes the entire visit â a little too slick. The third company â Sienna Roofing, locally owned and operated, was an instant success. Andre, the owner, actually listened to us â what we wanted and what we were concerned about â and made sure we understood what would be involved in the practical terms of the work, time, workers, disturbance. Then he went up on the roof (the first person in all this researching to do so!) and came back down with pictures of a couple of areas of concern around the fireplace chimney and the vents and explained the specific approach in these areas to prevent water seepage through to the underlayment or - even further - into the house. The next day he brought three samples of shingles â although all were grey, there were slight gradations in tint that would have made a huge difference over nearly 3000 sq.ft. of roof, so we chose and â because he understood and agreed the tree was first â he said â no problem, just call when youâ re readyâ and gave us a price significantly below the other two bids. We knew immediately this was the company we wanted. After the tree had come down, we realized we needed them to come back to remove parts of a backyard tree that also overhung the roof â and again, Andre said â no problem, call when youâ re ready.â It was two weeks later when we started â and through the entire period, we texted back and forth keeping each other current on the status of things, and Andre was always prompt and understanding of the situation. He had the supplier deliver all the materials the afternoon before, and the workers started really early the next morning. They covered the entire perimeter of the house with huge sheets of heavy plastic, stripped off the old shingles, replaced damaged plywood, laid the synthetic underlayment, installed the pipe flashing, shingles, drip edge, ice/water barriers around vents, attended to all the small details (like painting the vents with rust proof paint) â and cleaned up the entire area, replacing the patio furniture and raking and blowing the yard for any small debris. And they were done by mid-afternoon. Andre was there several times throughout the day to check on the work and we spoke and texted then and three times since. I canâ t believe how professional the entire experience was â and how comfortable we felt. After the purchase of a home, the most important maintenance is the roof â and Andre and his crew understand and respect that. They are absolutely the BEST !!!"

"Approximately 7-9 months ago we got an estimate so we knew how much money we needed for the siding to be installed. We got the money and I couldn't remember who gave us the quote, but when I called Mr. S Roofing and Siding, He remembered us and honored the quote from before. How cool is that in this day and age. I was about to go with him when another contractor offered to do it for less. So unfortunately I did not go with him on this, but I will use him on my next project.
