Get matched with top sump pump repair or replacers in Indianola, IA

"Replaced a sump pump. Same day service and th3 young man doing the work was knowledgeable and was done in less than an hour. The price was reasonable and half of another quote I received."

"They replaced the outside spigot and repaired a couple bad sections of pipe. They did a good job."

"I called on a Friday and they were able to send somebody on Monday morning. I'm not sure if it was because they contacted me through Homeadvisor or because I was hesitant to have them come out without even a ballpark price, but they waived the trip charge. I told them that I had a leaking shower faucet and expected that the cartridge just needed to be replaced. I received a phone call and text 40 minutes before the tech's arrival as promised. Jake showed up on time and offered to wear the booties everybody brings these days, but between the time he spent sitting in his van and then writing up a quote after glancing at the faucet, it was at least half an hour before I even had the quote. My choices were $412 for the cartridge or $700+ to replace at least the valve and maybe more and then repair drywall. I assume the quote was written this way to trigger the upsale, but I will be selling my home soon and the drywall that didn't even need to be removed for this repair is already being replaced as part of a separate repair project. I was surprised that he didn't bring shower cartridges on the van since it seems like a common repair, and I'd specifically told them that's what I needed. He was gone for over an hour to get one from the supply center. Once he returned, he turned off the water, then went back to the van for a bit. Once he started on the faucet, it took maybe half an hour to swap out the cartridge. When he was done, Jake had me sign a few times, then emailed me an invoice with no text describing the service performed, just the total. I told him I needed some explanation of what was done, and he re-sent it with a blurb explaining a Moen cartridge was replaced and has a one year warranty. About an hour after Jake left, I received a follow up phone call to confirm everything was completed to my satisfaction. I have no complaints about the work, everybody was pleasant enough to deal with, and I know they create their quotes straight from a pricebook, but 3 hours and $412 to complete a 30 minute repair that requires a part costing no more than $50 just seems excessive."

"Our outside drainage tile failed and we started getting some water in our basement in the spring of 2013. We contacted Better Basement Technologies LLC and liked what we heard and decided to book them. The wait was a bit longer then we wanted, but they did explain that to us ahead of time. Job went well. They came a week ahead of schedule which was fine.Whole
job was finished in about 5 days. That includes concrete drying, drywall, baseboards and plumbing. The main installation only took one day. Had a few minor issues that happened. But they were on top of it right away and fixed the issues. Everyone we had contact with was friendly and informative. Not sure if the price was right, never had this type of work done before. I am happy with the work that was done. Also if your basement is finished you need to get all your belongings out, because of the dust factor and be prepared to replace any carpet. Once it gets pulled up from the floor and the all the dust from the concrete it is just not worth keeping. I gave three A's and Three B's and since I can not pick in between grades I gave an overall of a B, but I really wanted to give an A-. Great work overall

"Replaced two bathroom faucets and drains, kitchen faucet and sprayer, two exterior spigots, relocated one of the spigots for improved accessibility. We are so pleased with their work and the politeness of the plumbers!"

"Nice job with the thermostat install, but never came back as promised to quote a replacement a/c unit. Called and left messages that were never responded to. Apparently they did not need any new business, but showed a lack of common courtesy.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
