"Vellox was amazing. My neighbor recommended I check with them when obtaining quotes for the work on my house which needed a new roof and gutters. Gleyson Olivera from Vellox was the only company rep of all of the other 5 quotes I received who came to my home AND walked me around my house giving recommendations as well as listening to my concerns. The lead time was acceptable, the quotation was competitive and there were no "hidden" extras such as rotten wood add-ons. Also, Vellox was the only company to account for overhangs on my roof and bring the ice and water shield farther up the roof. All of the other companies missed this. I made the decision to go with Vellox and the work was completed in one day. The workers did a fantastic job, the installation looks extremely precise, neat and it's painfully obvious how poorly installed my original roof was. I am beyond pleased. The gutter installs also came out perfect and include guards so I don't have to clean them out again. "This started as a relatively small repair, complicated by some water damage over the years. Required replacing two sheets of plywood, ice and water barrier, shingles, removal and reinstall of the vinyl and fascia. Tar Star was upfront with their suspicions and analysed the situation correctly. As it turned out later, they were correct with their predictions. The root cause was improperly installed shingles in one section of the roof, which were cut too short, which caused the water and ice accumulating under, eventually making its way to the board and rotting it out. The job took one day overall, split up in two parts, Sunday and Monday. I provided part of the material (shingles). The actual cost was in the estimated range. Tar Star provided good recommendations, conducted the repair efficiently, without unnecessary work or upsell, focusing on quality, longevity, and cost efficiency. I know I will have to replace the roof at some point, probably when installing solar equipment. This bought me a few more years for my old roof, which is what I wanted. Overall, nice guys. Company was hired to correct the issues caused by a prior roofer whose incompetence has cost me additional thousands in repair. On Top Roofing installed a ridge vent that the prior roofer only placed on the roof, re-flashed the chimney where prior roofer failed to install to match new rook lines, re-surface flat rook where prior roofer ignored. In addition, On Top Roofing was used on apartment buildings to help close up the roof and eliminate a bat problem. On the Top Roofing is the only roofing company to use. It takes a while to get on their schedule, but they show when they say the will and do the job they say they will do. Only hire On the Top!! You will not regret."

"I couldn't be more satisfied with the work Doherty Slate Roofing did on our slate roof. Everything--from initial and on-going communication via Liz, to price, to the quality of the work itself, to the friendliness of the workers on site--was excellent! Jason even agreed to come a little outside of their normal service area to respond to my request for a careful inspection and minor repairs where slate tiles were either missing or slightly out of place. And after the inspection and repairs were done, he provided a written report with photos on the condition of our roof (which is excellent), and what we will need to do in the future to maintain its good condition. "We had Power do our Roof and Gutters on our 120 year old home. This is our first big project on our new house and Power made the experience great. Their were a couple of hiccups but Power was able to rectify the situations. The project was supposed to be a 2 day project, but when taking the old shingles off they noticed the roof decking needed to be repaired because of significant wood rot. They finished the total project in 4 days. Power met every expectation. One part of the process that was a little frustrating was that I didn’t have one point person to talk to if I had questions.
