"We used these guys for our kitchen remodel 2 years ago and liked their work and them so well that we hired them to remodel our master bath. The removed the tub (we're geriatric) and installed a new shower with bench, put in new tile floor and reworked the electrical. Although my husband is impatient (these guys are busy and some days only one would be working at our house), they did a beautiful job. No corners were cut - they do beautiful work! "Thank you Distinguished Designs! The first visit Mr. Fowler arrived on time and asked if he needed to remove his shoes before entering. Unnecessary as the floors were already covered in paper; however, it was appreciated. We walked through the house and discussed the necessary installations and repairs. The initial quote was to install/paint baseboards, remove an outdated florescent fixture in the kitchen and patch the ceiling, patch drywall and install can lighting in several rooms. Throughout the project the crews arrived when expected, made good suggestions, performed respective duties impeccably, and cleaned up before leaving each day. As with most repairs there were unexpected surprises and a bit of scope creep. The unexpected surprises were handled professionally. We discussed the issues before proceeding and the estimates given were very close to actual coast. After I saw the brush-mark free finish on the baseboards I asked for my crown moulding to be painted as well."

"I did a lot of research on plumbers and out of the half dozen plumbing companies with the best overall ratings TX Quality Plumbing not only the highest rating, but they were the least expensive as well.  They showed up on time and immediately got to work.  It took them about 5 hours to complete the job.  The guys were very professional and friendly.  After they inspected everything the head plumber told me that he was concerned about my pipes (galvanized and over 40 years old) and that they will eventually need to be replaced.  He was especially concerned with the piping that comes out of the water heater and if nothing else I should replace those for now.  I agreed and they came back out the next day and replaced the pipes.  So for replacing my 50 gal water heater, replacing two pipe, several feet each, running a new drain line from the attic to the outside cost me $1,600.  Even with the extra unexpected cost they still beat everyone else's price for just the water heater replacement.  They also gave me a ballpark estimation on how much it would cost me to replace all my pipes based on 3 1/2 bath house and the price they quoted me was so much less then what I was expecting based on other peoples horror stories.  I will be using them for that big job as well!! <br />"
