"I highly recommend the No-Nonsense Termite Company to get rid of termite and/or other insect and rodent problems that you may have in your home. They're very efficient and their prices are very reasonable. Excellent customer service."

"Alex, he is a great guy, easy to talked to, very helpful, and did a great job!, I definitely would go back and hire him for any other problem I will encounter in my home. I would easily recommend him to all my friends and families that might need help with pest controls and termites."

"I expected a bit more treatment in patio area because I had understood during inspection that the termites had infested a larger area. Upon completion I brought that to their attention and they showed me the order which did not have area marked. They also did go over the said area with me and I was ok with it."

"This company uses the Orange Oil* and microwaves to treat for termites; and boric acid (Timborand reg;) on exposed wood to prevent future infestations. They use video cameras to look in the walls to determine which studs are affected.
Miguel was prompt on arrival, courteous and did a more thorough examination of the rafters than the previous termite inspector from another company. But it was clear that he was not nearly as experienced as another inspector from a third company that subsequently inspected our home.
He did not look in the attic nor check the crawl space under the floor. He relied on the previous inspection of another company that inspected the crawl space and found no termites. He only speculated as to how the termites were getting into the home, and did not verify the entry point.
We were quoted $720 to treat the affected studs, and $1260 to treat the affected studs and apply Timborand reg; to exposed wood for termites. (These prices include their 10% internet discount) The whole house treatment includes a 3 year warranty with yearly inspections. There is an option for an extended warranty at a cost of $200/year. The extended warranty is available only if the original warranty has not expired.
We considered this company, but subsequently learned from our county Agricultural Commissioner's Office that they see more repeat treatments when orange oil or microwave treatment is used compared to chemical treatment (fipronil aka. Thermadorand reg;, or fumigation). We are concerned this may indicate that the microwave and orange oil treatment are not as effective in eradicating termites despite a controlled study conducted by the University of California [Vernard R. Lewis et al, Journal of Economic Entomology 89(4): 922 - 934 (1996)) that suggests the method holds promise. The county Agricultural Commissioner's Office confirmed that boric acid treatment on exposed wood works well for prevention of termites and fungus.

*Addendum: At the end of the inspection we received a hand written estimate from Miguel based on the work and process we verbally discussed and he explained. We did not receive a written estimate until after this review was written. There is a discrepancy in what we believe we were told (that they use Orange Oil) and what the formal written estimate/contract states -that they use fipronil [and not Orange Oil]. We also noted discrepancies in what were told by the inspectors versus the terms of the written estimate/contract with other companies so this is not unique to this company. We would recommend reviewing the formal estimate/contract with any company before committing to any work.

"I am very happy with their termite treatment and I also like that they return in 30 days to check to be sure they killed the termites, and will treat again if needed for free with their one year warranty. They also provide a future warranty after the first year which will treat again if needed for an affordable price."

"I would highly recommend Surf City for all your termite needs."

"After the prior tenants moved out of the condo I bought, roaches were running around during the day. I had Gorilla come out once while the painters were there and it helped a lot. A few weeks later, there were still some stragglers. So they came out again for no additional charge and put spots of organic pest killer (I have cats and had to be sure it wouldn't hurt them)."

"Thorough, professional service while being most courteous, clean, and considerate while in my home. I highly recommend Superior Care with pleasure. Update: 08/31/2020 Thorough professional job treating a 10 unit condo complex for termites. Arrived right on schedule, very friendly and courteous team. Excellent clean up after job completion. The HOA is very pleased with the Superior Care performance and will hire again. The HOA has also hired Superior Care for a year-round pest control service. Highly recommended."

"I never thought the day would come wherein I would call a pest control company. Apparently, all our efforts to prevent mice failed because we constantly saw mice creeping down the kitchen hallway.

They came and inspected the entire house for mice! They laid bait and explained mice biology and how to truly prevent them.

I recommend Kilter. They are dedicated to quality service and that’s what I appreciate.

"We have them do the pest control around the house (outside).  They came and spray everywhere outside of the property.  We have an annual contract with them.  They will come every quarter.  We like them because they claimed they use eco friendly pesticide.  No complain as of yet.  They used the internet to sent us the receipt and what service they did.
