It appears they use green / eco friendly products which put my mind at ease. They also gave an Angie's List discount. He did an excellent job! "Noticed a couple mouse droppings in my basement so I called Plunkett's - my landlord at a previous location swore by them for pest control. I signed up for the exterior service. Plunkett's was very responsive from the start. Person came out within a business day or two of my first contact, she very thoroughly inspected the exterior of my house and plugged all the possible mouse-entry homes. This included happily fighting through very painful and thorn-ridden landscaping to make sure she wouldn't miss even an inch of stucco when checking for holes. On the interior, I already had several traps placed in my basement, so the person suggested I skip the full interior service (where they set and check traps) and instead just made recommendations of how I could better place the traps. She also noticed one successful capture and removed it for me. Very hard working and thorough, would call again but hopefully that's not necessary..."

"Newnam Restoration Services was a huge help to me when I heard squirrels running around in my attic. They were always friendly, helpful, and responsive when I reached out and talked me through the whole process. They recommended a wildlife trapper who was able to get the animals out of my home. Then Newnam came out, assessed the damage, gave me a cost estimate, and completed repairs promptly."

"Burr's employee found and plugged one entry point and placed a number of bait stations in various places around the basement. To date the mice are still eating the bait I use and dying. They may be mice that were already in the house when the entry point was plugged. I hope so. It is probably too soon to be certain that the treatment was unsuccessful but I fear that the problem is still with us. I contracted with Angies List for this service and when I had not heard from anyone for over a month I called Angies List and asked for a refund. My request was refused because it had been over a month. I don't know whether the problem was with Angies List or Burr but it left me unhappy with both organizations. I then told Angies List to see if they could get Burr to fulfill the contract which they did."

"I had a mouse problem in my basement. Brett came out set traps,live and bait. He set them inside and outside. Once he found their  entry point he sealed the spot. Even set traps in the garage where they were also. In total he made 3 trips to my house making sure the problem was being solved. He was very knowledgeable about his profession. <br />"

"I know nothing about a chimney so I got a second opinion. This mason, after the inspection, said that there was nothing wrong with the chimney and " might need repair when his young son was old enough to take over the business" I can't say whether Lindemann is good or bad; I can say, make sure you get a second opinion. 1/21/11 The company called and set up a new appointment. A 25 year veteran employee came out and scoped the chimney and showed me the missing mortar and a crack in the tile. I will still get 2 more inspections and quotes before doing anything. 2/21/11 I received more inspections and the new guys did not see the immediate dangers that Lindemann did. They saw small cracks, a clean chimney and a firebox that needed repair. I honestly don't know if Lindemann was the best and most thorough or the most alarming. We went with the other guys at 25% of the cost. I raised their overall grade to a "B" because I received a call from them about the lower mark I had awarded. Net, net I would suggest you at least get a bid from these guys: they are professional, on time and very much care about their reputation."
