"Everything went well. Eric showed up about 25 minutes after I called him. He lubricated all garage door parts (to get rid of squeaks) and reviewed the garage door condition with me. For example, the garage itself is solid but the springs show some signs of rust. He felt they did not need to be replaced yet, but I have been notified. He installed a new lightbulb in garage door unit (hadn’t noticed it had burned out) and mentioned that some modern LED bulbs can interfere with the lift unit operation! (And told me what to watch out for). He pointed out that a hedge should be trimmed a bit as the garage door kept side-swiping it when it opened and closed. Finally, he tweaked a new (unprogrammed) garage door opener to work with the door. He was easy to talk to, had a good attitude, didn’t rush or try to fast-sell me anything, and enlightened me about several matters. A square shooter. Price was good too. Recommended."

"Irvine Fence was very responsive and followed up on everything right away. The work was completed within 5 days of our initial contact to them. The price was $800 which we found very reasonable. This is a large gate and included hauling off our old, heavy wood gate. At first, we felt like they installed the gate swinging the wrong way as our original gate swung inward and all the hardware was on the inside of the gate (not facing the front yard). But by swinging outward, it created more space inside the gated area for our trash cans and so we decided to keep it the way it was installed. They were going to change it the same day if we wanted but we decided against it. If you are ordering a gate, be specific on the direction you want it to swing."
