"Mose is great at taking your concept  and turning it into a fine finished product.    We wanted the wall unit designed without a wood back so the color of the wall would show - hard to do without the backing for support but he did it.    He asks questions and gets a good concept of what you want.   He is very detailed and an incredible wood craftsman.    I am not sure he had done custom window shutters before but they turned out great and were quite reasonable despite what turned out to require multiple trips to the house fort fitting and installation.    If you want fine woodworking and design I would call on him.

"The installers seemed to have done a good job. They were extremely fast, only taking one day to completely gut and install the new shower system. Although, one handrail was installed on the wrong side. To correct the issue, they came back the next day to install another free handrail on the correct side. The only complaints that I have are the shower wand sprayed black water for about 30 seconds then stopped working. I removed the wand and the water flowed properly from the pipe. I replaced the ?new? wand with my old shower head so we could use the shower. My only other complaint is that my water pressure is about half of what it was before the installation. Since I had to replace the shower head with my original one, I had a good baseline for this comparison. All in all, we?re happy with our new walk-in shower."

"I became aware of the company because they had canvassed our neighborhood looking for storm damage. Their representative indicated that we had hail damage to our roof. I contacted our insurance company for confirmation and an evaluation. They did find hail damage but not on the whole roof. They were willing to pay for half of it. I did not want to try matching shingles so I had AIS do the whole roof. My impression of their representative was that he was very knowlegable about roofs and roofing matierals. He was also pleasant to deal with . Based on the cost of the roof when it was replaced 10 years ago, I felt that the price was very reasonable so I did not seek a second estmate. I did check Angies List and the BBB and concluded that the company was reputable.
The estimate was in September 2011 but weather delayed installation until October. The roof was installed shortly after it was delivered and was basically completed in one day. There was not a bit of trash, nails, or other residue to be found after they left. I was pleased with the job and the clean-up. A complete description of materials was left with me. The only shortcoming was communicating to me that I had to go online and register with the manufacturer for the warranty.  I discovered that by reading through the materials.
I would not hesitate to use the company again and plan to do so in the spring. (I inquired of them about a solution for a metal chimney surround and the representative described a process they use.)"

"Our project was the removal of a large Kohler walk-in handicapped bath tub and replacing it with a custom designed shower. Timothy Baker, the installer, could not have been better in any way. Tim was completely professional and dedicated, even staying very late the last evening to complete the job. A significant bonus to this project is knowing that we have lifetime warranty on the shower, even transferable to a subsequent home owner. We can also schedule routine inspections which I plan to do starting next year. We truly appreciate ImproveIt and their superb customer service and follow-up post installation."

"Tim completely gutted and remodeled our master bath as well as our kids' bathroom. Both turned out wonderful and we are very happy with his work. He put in ceramic tile floors, tiled both showers, installed tubs, toilets, vanities , painted, did all trim and hung all bathroom accessories. 

I also hired Tim to do handyman work, he installed new kitchen faucet, new light fixtures, patched drywall in our basement and painted. He also painted our front door and put new hardware on. Everything looks great.

Tim does what he says he is going to do and is very reliable and trustworthy. He is great with communication and pays a lot of attention to detail and does exactly what the customer asks him to do. He offers good suggestions when you're not sure exactly what you want to do.  He gave us a fair and  honest price and followed through with everything perfectly. He works really hard and rarely even takes a break ! I would definitely recommend Steger Renovations.
